MNF: Giants @ Saints

24 posts in this topic

I know this means nothing for the Ravens or any AFC team but I am really intersted in seeing the Saints offense. I believe they could beat the Packers in the playoffs. I think they have a huge chance of going to the superbowl again this year. So yeah thats basically it!
Also its football!

I'm going to pull for the Giants. The Giants have an amazing offense and defense, i'm sure they'll come out and play hard. It'll be a real good game to watch.

Tired of this "meeting" they keep showing, too. We get it, Sean Payton and Drew Brees and amazing and "stimulate" each other a lot

Turning off the game after Brees' latest string of good plays, I know the commentators won't let that go now... I even have Brees on my fantasy team but, frankly, the constant praise for him is obnoxious.

Why does it bother you so much? Drew Brees is awesome, and he won a Super Bowl recently. This is how they always are with high profile players.

The Saints and Drew Brees get so much love from the media, it's sickening.

They deserve it.

Geez.... Saints dominating 35 to 10 here. I think Tom Coughlin is about to be on the hot seat once again.

It's been happening for years. And every time the Ravens have seen Brees, Payton, and the Saints they've been whooped. I'm not overly impressed with them.

Who cares?

This Saints team has a SB championship, and this Ravens team doesn't.

Drew Brees is a top 3 QB, and deserves all the love he gets.

I mean Ray Lewis gets just as much love anyways.

Ray Lewis is the best defensive player of his generation, probably top 5 all-time. Drew Brees isn't in that class. He's had a great career so far but he's not as great as some analysts make him out to be. As you said, he isn't even the top QB in the league. If Manning was playing, he'd be out of the top 3 all together.

Saints are making a run.... while the Giants are going downhill. Tom Coughlin will be gone for sure.

[sub]I think for much of this year the Saints' offense has gone under-the-rader behind Green Bay's. I think from here on out they'll get plenty of love, even though once in a while NFL.com posts something on the Saints about how good they are simply because no one's said it in a while. [/sub]

Brees is pretty good...he might break Unitas' games in a row with TDs record.

That was a slaughter. 49-24 was it? You can hate on Brees all you want, but he's a great QB. And the Giants Defense stunk up the field. I think Umenyiora went out though. Still. Flacco and company would have punished the Giants. The Mark Ingram TD at the end said it all. He went in I believe untouched 35 yards. And the Giants deserved it. After the helmet to helmet on Jimmy Graham, the Giants DB's would not shut their mouths and continued to push the Saints O-Lineman trying to give Graham room for the trainers. And I hate the taunting calls. If you're gonna call it, call it both ways. Brandon Jacobs had the ball in the Saints defensive players face and was waving it in their faces when dancing and nothing was called. And a Saints player ran high stepped on the field and they called that.

The Saints are just as classless as the Giants. They ALWAYS give chip shots after the whistle. I saw it first hand last year when they TRIED to muscle up on us. The Giants are in disarray but they'll prob. win a couple more games. It would be nice for them to beat Dallas ( can;t stand them). The Saints are aweomse offensivley but they're defense is still sub par , IMO.

For the record, I thought the hit on Jimmy Graham was perfectly legal... He's a punk, regardless of what the MNF crew was spewing.

Also, anyone else notice that Jaws Chuckie, and Tirico are almost always at each others throat by the 4th quarter? What a joke of a broadcast. I can handle Grunden, but the other two are horrid.

And nobody's saying hes the best QB in the league either.

No shame in being behind Brady and Rodgers.
