Something I Have Noticed About Ray Rice

If you look at the big runs Rice has had, it is important to point out at what time in the game those runs happened. In the Pats playoff game, and also on the called back run that started the Steelers week 9 game, Rice showed his speed and took it to the house. Both of those plays occured on the first play of the game, when Rice was fresh.

Many of the runs he has broken for big yardage came late in the game after he had been worn down by tough between-the-tackles running all game. It makes perfect sense to me that he would be faster on his first carry of the game than on his twentieth carry of the game.

That being said, Rice has speed, and its NOT due to steroids. That claim is absurd.

As you get older you gain weight, especially if you're weight training like Rice is. To even hint that rice is on roids is quite frankly absurd and insulting. They do test for that you know. It's HGH that is the hot topic for the NFL.
