This was, in my mind, the best performance I've ever seen out of our players this season. They were almost as fired up in this one as they were in the two against the Steelers.

The only reason I might pick the second Steelers game over this is because the 49ers had not yet played a good defense, so it was kind of a wake-up call for them with their team and how they match up against top defenses.

It was a great game , only thing i didnt like about it was the stupid announcers, the dude kept drawing on the freaking screen, hard to make a montage with drawing all over the screen. They showed some great angles but then they had some that they didnt even show a replay. wth

To me we have had 3 stellar games: Pitt week 1 (sheer dominance); Pitt on the road (awesome comeback against our nemesis); and, the 49ers (our statement game).
The 2000 Ravens I believe won the last 11 games in our Super Bowl year. Will this year's team win out? It is interesting to see what will set us apart from the rest of the AFC as we move forward into the playoffs; however, sweeping the Squeelers is already a distinct characteristic of this season.

I agree that the first steeler game was the best game they played all year. Any time you play you arch rival that well it is hard to top, The 49er game comes in close second because we had fewer penalties, allowed fewer sacks, and allowed fewer overall yards. The thing I like most is we beat the 49ers at their own game. We played smart football, possessed the ball on long drives, and made timely plays. That has been the MO for the 49ers all year.

Our games in the division this year have all been great performances. We've had three big wins over teams that have been trouble for us in the past, including an utterly dominant performance against the Steelers in Week One and thrilling wins over the Bengals and Steelers. The Rams was a great win simply because we got to see the emergence of Torrey Smith. Honestly, we've had some pretty spectacular wins (and losses) this season. My favorite is Week One because of how terrible we made Pittsburgh look, but a lot have been worth watching and remembering.
