I cant think of one other defensive player this year who deserves it more then suggs. But who knows, the NFL will probably give it to a steeler

In my opinion, Sizzle would be the DPOY of the entire NFL if the season ended today. Revis would be a close second. Speaking of Revis, he's probably the only CB who's playing better than Webb right now in the AFC.

Someone else I would suggest instead of Webb for our MVP besides Suggs is Jameel McClain. He doesn't have the pure stats of some of the other guys, but if you watch the games, you'll see he's making the plays we need to win games. Especially since Ray has been out.

Honestly, (and I'm a Revis Island fan) he was getting beat by BUF. If you watch the game he gave up some big plays. I'd put Webb over him right now in terms of the season but he's a great CB.

Yeah I watched that game and Stevie Johnson did a great job against Revis, but more than anything, Ryan Fitzpatrick is one of the only QBs man enough to challenge Revis consistently. He's never afraid to make mistakes. To me there was only one play where Johnson really beat Revis and caught the ball. It was his touchdown pass. I don't know what Revis was thinking when he offered inside position in the red zone. He beat Revis a few more times but suffered from dropitis.

I wouldn't base that one game on the entire season, and although I love Webb, there's no one even close to Revis this year in the NFL. Having Revis on the field is almost like having a nickelback in your base package.

Just to throw some stuff out. PFF in their point system has Webb as the 2nd rank CB (Brent Grimes 1st) with him being one of two that has not allowed a TD (not Revis) and ranked 8th in Def QB Rating. Outstanding year. I didn't realize how good he's been.

I wouldn't put too much stake in that website which was posted. It seems like a good effort which could definitely work for some positions, but I don't think it's too accurate for many of them. For example, Ed Reed is the 43rd ranked safety (behind Pollard). The website just can't factor in the type of impact a player like him has, in that he stops the other team from taking deep shots. Again I'm not saying that it can't work at all, just I don't think I would put a whole lot of stake in it.

On topic though, both Webb and Sizzle are having pro bowl and DPOY type seasons. We saw flashes of what Webb could do in his rookie season, it's great to see it finally happening.

It looked rough in the beginning of the season having Jimmy injured. Do you think Webb came out on top because of this injury? Because in the beginning of the season all you heard was about the 2 big physical corners taking the spotlight in smith and williams. Would Webb have this success without that injury?

Demarcus Ware will probably win DPOY. I think he leads the NFL in sacks. Webb should make the Pro Bowl....But he dosen't get recognition from around the country.

Probably not. "Next man up" played in Webbs favor in a huge way.

He had the opportunity and seized it for all it was worth.

Kinda makes you wonder what other hidden gem is warming a bench somewhere.
