Ravens @ Browns

I feel so good when our D play like yesterday. They gotta play every game like that! Don't underrate the Browns, in the end of the day, they are a divisional oponnent and we must win that game

The only reason the Browns always look like doormats is because of the division they play in. The teams in this division always beat up on each other. We know how good the Browns are - remember last year they took out the Saints and the Patriots in back-to-back weeks, and took a Jets' team that got the AFCCG to overtime. The Browns' problems these last few years have always been the fact that they struggle against division opponents. I have no doubt that if they weren't in the AFC North, they'd have more winning records and more playoff appearances in the last decade. I don't care what their record is, they are a tough, physical football team that always gives the Ravens a good fight.

If we continue our 2011-2012 season tradition we'll lose this game coming off a big win. Hopefully the extra time will allow us to prepare and not underestimate yet another average team. I did predict we'd beat SF and lose in Cleveland though...

Browns always play us hard. The fact that if they were in another division that they would win more could be said about all four teams. All we have to do is keep focus. If we do that we can play with anybody, and could see 13-3

It is good to get a 10-day rest. (The boys probably won't have to 'practice' 'til Monday.)
Furthermore, Ray could truly be back to face the Brownies. I was born in northeast Ohio so I remember going to the games in old Municipal Stadium and sitting up in the press boxes, but don't care anymore since Art Modell, The King, brought football to Baltimore with the Ravens.
Enjoy the rest team and come back determined with that business-like approach to attacking the rest of our remaining opponents. Doesn't 13-3 sound nice with home field advantage throughout the playoffs?

cant underestimate the Browns at all. Espically with the Steelers 1/2 game behind our heels. We need to win the rest of our games to get home playoff advantage.

I think the extra time helps the Ravens out when it comes to avoiding a let down. And I know this may sound a bit silly but I think Ray may have a bit of a chip on his shoulder after the 49ers game. The Ravens tied a Franchise record for sacks and just dominated a 9-1 S.F team. Im sure he wants to prove to everyone that he is NEEDED and still the center piece of the Ravens D. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Ravens D pitch a shutout angisnt the Browns.

I think we win hands down if we score at least 17 points. Is Hillis playing?

I hope so, he's terrible.

Before the game against the 49ers, I was telling my friend we needed Ray to play and that we could have him play Thursday and rest him against Cleveland. Now after what we did against the 49ers, who is a far more better team than Cleveland, I say we could afford to give Ray a longer rest period by keeping him out against Cleveland.

I would actually prefer that since that would have Ray back when we start our 2 game stretch against the Colts and Chargers, and be back for the other 2 games against Cleveland and Cincy in Week 16 and 17. Plus the way it's looking at least we'll be the 2 seed so Ray would have the bye week to also help heal him before facing the Divisional Round.

Pleeeeeeeease tell me big ray is ready!
dont worry man our defense has showed that they can step up without him. let him rest until he is really ready to play, so he can dominate in the games where we are really going to need him

He didn't seem at all bothered by how well our D was doing on the sidelines. He was fired up for every big play.

Hillis will be back. He gave us a fit last year, but is not quite up to speed. The Browns don't score many points. I like our chances in both the games against them. We will win by 3 TDs and silence the critics that say we can't beat the bad teams.

Hopefully Ray will be ready for this game, he has 10 days, and he sounds like he's close. I wouldn't mind him sitting out this and the colts game though.

As much as I hate to say it, our defense with out Ray is not that bad.

I say rest him for the browns. I would rather have him ready for Indy and San Diego.

Its time for the ravens to make a statement. Obviously our wins against the steelers, 49ers, and the other good teams we've beat have been statements. BUT flacco and the offense has been consistent for 2 games in a row against 2 playoff contending teams, our defense is coming off the best game i have seen them play in a while- probably since the jets, ray lewis should be coming back, and we saw lee evans make a huge play for us against the 49ers. By making a statement now i mean we need to crush the browns and crush the colts. No close games i think we need our defense to continue their effort like the 49ers game by flying all over the field and pressuring the quarterback. We need flacco to go out there and win us these games, throwing for 2 touchdowns and rice rushing for 2 more in each game is what im talking about. I want to see the confidence of this team firing on all cylinders going into the chargers game in San Diego and from then all the way to the superbowl

Don't take the Browns lightly guys, they have the #1 pass defense and a top defense overalll

Their offense has been pretty bad though so as long as our team shows up and plays hard like they do against good teams we should win

......but I've said the same thing about the Seahawks, etc..

They are susceptible to the run though.

This game I think we'll see 1 TD pass from Flacco, probably a deep PA ball to Torrey. Most of the yardage is likely going to come on the ground with Rice and Williams rolling up close to 300 yds between them and 3 td's between them.

The Browns problem right now is their offense...they can't move the ball, No real reliable WR's. We will need to watch for their ST Return game though. Cribbs can bring one back at anytime, much the same as Ginn. There were a couple returns by Ginn that had me on the edge of my seat.

Caution, coming off of a big win has been the downfall of our team this year. It doesn't help when we look so good when Ray is out. I think that everyone knows that we are better with him and we do need his leadership on the field. I would love to see a shutout against the Browns and for the Ravens to win all the rest of the games this season. Hillis will be back so I don't think that we will keep them from scoring at least 10 points. We have the potential of scoring 31 points against their 10. No turnovers and no letdown. Go Ravens.
