Props To The O-Line!

Man the OL has been playing well for the past few weeks....its been the defense getting us down early and then Cam abandoning the run and Joe's receivers not catching balls....

Tonight everything clicked...the OL has been playing great for weeks

9 sacks for the ravens, 0 sacks for the 49ers. Every analyst out there needs to take a look back and reevaluate flacco and see how hard it is to play with a bad offensive line which he had for the past 2 years and look at him now. I was not only impressed with our offensive line but Flacco has really started to move well in the pocket this year and is able to hit his checkdowns rather than taking sacks.

Perfect O-Line game, they played just as dominate as our D-Line.
Yes, the O-line is dominating, with how they are playing I can see Joe playing solid the rest of the way out along with the run game!

Getting Grubbs back a few weeks ago really bolstered our oline. Great game guys!
yeah ever since he came back the OL has been playing at a much higher level...Grubbs has really helped calm down McKinney as well

Yeah I just hope that we are able to re-sign him and have the Cap Room to do so. I think Grubbs absence made more of a impact on our offensive line than Gaither when he was injured. We were able to move on at OT and do the next man up and everything was fine. Now when Grubbs was out you could tell our offensive line missed him, now he is back and our offensive line is better. Let's hope the loss of Gaither and others in the off-season will be able to allow us to keep Grubbs but I know it will be tough with us having to Pay Rice and Joe in the next couple years.

It's very interesting to see Flaccos awareness improving. Last year where he would have sat in the pocket without moving he's noticeably making faster reads and smarter decisions(for the most part). The quick read to run though he didn't get the first showed his improvement. He's also getting better at sensing pressure. It seems like its starting to all come together. Not only that but some of these passes tonight were very accurate. The oline played well tonight too.

After hearing about San Frans rushers I was a bit worried, but I must say the Oline did fantastic and kept Flacco clean.
They were just about flawless in pass protection and they wore the 9ers down in the run game. We never popped them for a big one but the oline beat them up and kept them away from Joe. I would have liked to see us go down field once or twice more but I know that San Fran wasn't trying to get beaten down by Torrey. But the Oline was awesome. The right side was just mashing, Yanda in particular.

Major props to the o-line... 4th straight game together and they're looking better and better each week. Only thing I'd like to see improved is the run blocking, but the pass protection has been on point.

Not to mention Leach being a complete bull dozer out there!
My god did you see him absolutely lay waste to Patrick Willis?

Vonta.. you're a monster.

Yes, Patrick Willis was a non-factor tonight... kudos to Leach and this coaching staff for neutralizing him.

Way to go oline! The oline got it done tonight. I think we had 96 rush yards against a very good run defense. Willis was nonexistant. Leach, and Yanda owned him. I saw Leach pancake him twice. Beautiful. Woulda liked to get a rushing TD, but you know, Cam tried to get cute. Lol. Props to the oline.

Just read this on Rotoworld: "The Ravens became the first team since 2006 to collect nine sacks while allowing none".

Gotta love it.

If Bryant McKinnie is playing at better than average, i think we have an elite OL

Bryant McKinnie is a vet and PBer
Ben Grubbs has been a G pro bowl alternate and it's only a matter of time till he goes back to the PB
Matt Birk is a veteran that's been to the PB
Marshall Yanda is one of the best G
Michael Oher is playing at a high level and just might go to the PB this season

McKinnie has done better since Grubbs has come back.

Grubbs has made our entire offense better.

Birk is declining, but is still a great center. Yeah, I did in fact say great.

Yanda should be a probowler, easy. He's near perfect in pass protection. I think he's given up one sack all season. He's underrated in pass pro, and he is known as a monster run blocker.

Oher has turned it around. Last year he was below average, and this year he got off to a very slow start. But he's been great in recent weeks. Pass pro has become much better.

All we heard ALL week was how the 9ers don't need to blitz, the 9ers dominate o-lines, the 9ers d is the best in the league.... Hey, they're a good D and our O-line was pretty much toying with them. Pat Willis is NOT Ray Lewis, lets get that straight.

The O line is really jelling. I also note that this is the opposite of years past. The past two years, the O line (particularly in pass pro.) regressed as the season went on, but were definitely progressing right now.

Oh boy do we know that. Leach killed Willis. It was a thing of beauty.

The major thing that impressed me was that our O-Line was getting to the second level.. LB's are great athletes and all that but when you get manned up on by someone like Yanda or Grubbs? I'll take that every game. Our O-line is athletic enough to make that happen, I look to see it getting better weekley. Grubbie is still working back from his toe, he really was/is a BIG difference.

I loved seeing Yanda punish the 9ers LB's. It was a thing of beauty and it's really an O-linemans dream, becasue that means youve already beaten your first guy (Dline).
