Suh Ejected For Stomping

Yeah in the draft I thought, "We need to get someone like Suh or Fairley" and then this happened. There's a reason why they're in Detroit. Short tempers. I can't believe two of our own fans actually tried to defend him. Give me a break. The guy's a hot head and he needs to be suspended.

Never defended his actions here. Merely stated that it wasn't unprovoked like the analysts keep trying to make it sound. In the same post I even state that the ejection was deserved.

I do believe that Lee was ejected as well but no one is talking about that. Same situation. He was provoked by the Lions' player so it's alright but not for Suh.

I think it is Suh's previous actions, his reputation, that is making this one incident the catalyst for his suspension. He's done questionable things before. That repeat offender thing.

Suh has been suspended for two games, but of course he is going to appeal but Suh has said he will sit out Sunday Night's game between the Lions and Saints.

The NFLPA has encouraged Suh to appeal "in order to ensure that players who engage in similar behavior won't be suspended in the future."

The NFLPA is even stupider than I thought, I thought it couldn't get worse than hiring DeMaurice Smith to represent the players during the Lockout, but now they are defending what Suh did?!?! Listen, I'm all for rules being cut down to allow real football once again but I can not agree with what Suh did. Players who are dumb enough to do what Suh did should be suspended for it.

I thought two games was a little too light considering Ben got four for his antics plus Suh is a repeat repeat offender.

Suh's officially filed the appeal - LINK

How ridiculous. What basis does this appeal have? Two games was, in my opinion, the absolute minimum he could get; he should be happy.

True, he hasn't even apologized to the guy he stomped on. He really has nothing to lose though from appealing. Except a couple hours or however long it takes.

Yeah the appeal doesn't hurt anything except his PR, judging by the comments on PFT.

HA HA! Suh's Suspension Appeal has been DENIED!

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2011/12/02/ndamukong-suh-loses-his-appeal/

Well we'll see if Suh learns from this but considering the history of players getting fined and suspended, they never truly learn.

They should have added an extra game on top just for appealing

There was never a chance the league would reduce it from two games.

Total time wasting with that appeal

He only appealed because he had to courtesy of the NFLPA. It sets a bad precedent to not try but I have to believe he knew all the way it wasn't going to be reduced.

I personally think the suspension is just.. he essentially has been suspended 2 1/2 games and that to me seems fair.

Suh should be suspended for the rest of the season. Maybe that can fix the dirty culture that Schwartz is instilling in Detroit. It's bad enough the Steelers get away with playing like that, we really don't need another team that's 100% full of punks.
