I was trying to give Suh the benefit of the doubt cause I really liked this kid. I've been watching Suh for a number of years now, and he was a terrific player for Nebraska. I can't recall ever seeing him do something reprimand-able with the Huskers, and he seemed like a real class act to me. I don't know if it was the money or something that caused him to change this way, but there really is something wrong with Suh that he would go and do something like that on national television. He should be suspended the rest of the season, he's not getting the message and the commissioner needs to stop this before it gets worse. Suh is playing dirty enough to be a Steeler.

I'm watching his post-game presser on Sportscenter....I agree with your post, redlobster...I am fond of the word pathetic when describing that performance..

I think Suh has taken the dirtiest player award from Whines Hard.

Suh is a moron. honestly, I think he should be suspended for the rest of the season. I never bought into Detroit being as good as the talking heads made them out to be after 5 games.

It was a Haynesworthean play. And the explanation afterwards was ridiculous - don't insult the intelligence of the national audience that saw you jam the guys head into the turf a few times only to get up and stomp on his arm. Well-earned ejection and a huge fined + suspension is coming to Detroit.

He's going to be embarrassed by this when he's older.
Problem is, I don't think so.

He should have manned up and simply said "Hey this happened, I lost my cool. Stupid thing for me to do." But noooooo....he sits there and says what we saw happen didn't happen that way.."I didn't kick him..." . Dumb move.

I simply couldn't understand how he took the podium in order to offer such an, "explanation." It's utterly disgraceful. How can you repeatedly claim that you were attempting to remove yourself from the situation while you were supposedly being held down? He was clearly on top on Dietrich-Smith, with both hands free, so he was nowhere near being held down. Furthermore, he shoved his helmet into the ground for roughly 5 seconds, until T.J. Lang ran in to separate him from his teammate, so he had to be removed from the situation by an opposing player. If a suspension wasn't looming before the post-game conference, and it likely was, I hope that his attitude afterwards merits an even worse punishment, as he obviously hasn't learned his lesson.

I'm going to put this a lot on Jim Schwartz. Ndamukong Suh was the same player on the field in the NFL like he was in college--an absolute monster. All this extra stuff I have not seen until he came into the pros. Schwartz is responsible for disciplining his players and make sure they play with intensity and do so until the whistle is blown, after that stop with the shennagians.

I really like Suh since his Nebraska days when he just wracked havoc against the Texas OL and scared Colt McCoy for life. This extra "dirty" junk needs to be reigned in and Schwartz has to do a better job of making sure his team plays clean football. He sets the example and his players are following his lead.

I noticed that the blocker drove Suh backwards when he was on his knees and the ball was already gone, that's more dangerous than a few face pushes and a little donkey kick. I've seen players end up on the shelf for the same thing.

Yes I feel the same way. Plus if you really look at the video, the Packer player has Suh in a bear hug and won't let him up. The point is though, once up, Suh should have just walked away and not thrown his little tantrum. Now, once he already did throw his tantrum, he should have owned up to it. He could have said "hey this guy did this and I lost my cool etc". He still did lose it and the ejection was correct.

Oh please...there is no excuse for what he did and how he plays the game! The guy is complete trash and an embarrassment to his team and the league!

Oh Mr. Suh, you are a class act.

Believe me, I get the whole idea of being 'in the moment', alongside the adrenaline rush, etc., -- but there was no reason for his actions. Then, if that wasn't enough, he gets up in front of the media and tries to play it off as though what we saw didn't really happen.

I see Mr. Suh landing the #1 spot of Dameshek's Shame Report this week and deservedly so.

Pretty bad when I, as a father of three sons (one of which plays football), has to tell my children that is exactly how NOT to act on the playing field.

Suh should be more worried about fines, suspension and loss of endorsements -- not to mention the respect of his teammates, coaches and the rest of the league and worst yet, some of his fans.

Of course leave it to Rex Ryan to say "Suh should be released and come to the Jets."

They played this clip during Total Access.

Of course thanks alot Suh! Your idiotic self just took away from what the media should be talking about, the Ravens defense dominating the 49ers but of course Suh had to do something stupid and take the spotlight away!

You mean he took the spotlight away from the media complaining about the 9ers having to cross the country on a short week and the two penalties.

Well they can complain directly to the NFL for both. Calls were good. Don't like the rules, complain to the rule committee. Don't want to travel on a short week, complain to the schedule makers. Not like WE had anything to do with either of those things. Besides, I don't think those 2 penalties are why they lost. Call me crazy, but I think 9 sacks might have had a wee bit of something to do with the loss.

His apology basically consisted of this: I'm sorry I put myself in the position for the refs to screw me.
If I had my own show on Comedy Central, you'd count on me making a skit out of it. That's something you just can't pass up making fun of. Suh acted like he was in court or something. He had all of his words all thought out like people would think differently if he just said "I just don't like the way this guy looks".

Good. I hope he is suspended. I was getting so tired of all the "experts" on ESPN and across the web, talking about how he isn't a dirty player and the he just plays hard. He lost his cool and did something stupid. Fact: he is a dirty player. You don't see anyone else across the NFL, doing the stupid things that he is consistently doing.

Reports going around is that he may be suspended 2 games.
2 games seems fair if and when that is official. 5 games left in the season and 2 of them without Suh, that's almost half of the remaining season. That's not even counting the 3+ quarters of football he missed by getting ejected during the Packers game.

so much for not being a dirty player eh suh?

You just keep bringing it on yourself young man, (i know your older than me).. Maybe he just plays with so much intensity/passion but then so does ray and he isnt been ejected i dont think...
Suh gets too personal and then tries to act like he didn't do anything wrong.. that's my opinion.

Yeah in the draft I thought, "We need to get someone like Suh or Fairley" and then this happened. There's a reason why they're in Detroit. Short tempers. I can't believe two of our own fans actually tried to defend him. Give me a break. The guy's a hot head and he needs to be suspended.

I don't condone what he did, he definitely overreacted and lost his cool but what the guy did to him was a potential career ender.
