Adjustments

It's something that hasn't always been a strength this year for the Ravens but I believe that we are going have to be ready to make timely adjustments for this game. This is a tough defense and a deceptive offense. If we can at least adjust as we go, we can find a way to move the ball consistently and stop them consistently. I see this game as a hard fought game. The 9ers are healthy and have proved this year that they travel east very well. So we can't expect a tired team to show up tonight. In the late 3rd qtr, the better and stronger team may begin to pull away. So a good running game will help. We have to continue to pound it consistently even if we are only getting 1s and 2s and make the adjustments to inside zone blocking, outside zone blocking, or the diesel package with man on man blocking. But we have to run the ball and stay balanced to win this one.

This hasn't just been a problem this season but pretty noticeable for the last two, mainly on the offensive side. When Cam stops being stubborn and relinquishes a little power is when this team will start to hit its stride in all phases I feel. Usually when the offense plays well the D will come more energized and plays are usually made on ST. When the o starts strong the whole team usually follows suite.
