Aaron Rodgers To Top Tom Brady's Td Record?

3 posts in this topic

With just six weeks left in the NFL regular season, Rodgers has 31 touchdown passes. My question is do you think he can surpass Tom Brady's record of 50 tds? I think with the remaining schedule being a little easy for them and the only real challenge at secondaries are the Chiefs and Bears, he has a legit chance.

Facing the Bears and Chiefs, they are going to have lots of 3 and outs because of their QB situations. I guess it just depends on if they sit towards the rest of the season to rest.

Also, could Brees, Brady, or Rodgers get another shot at Marino's record of 5084 yards in a regular season? I think all 3 have a great shot to do so.

Lastly, I love Flacco, but he has 10 fumbles so far this year, averaging 1 per game. 10! Already totaling more than he had last year. On the flip-side at least, he has only 21 sacks after 10 games this year compared to 40 of 16 last year.

I dont see how he won't, unless they take him out in the final games to keep him fresh and injury-free for the playoffs. I fully expect him to surpass Brady's record.

His average over the first 10 games is 3.1 TDs per game. Multiply that out over the next 6 and you get 18.6. Add it to his current numbers and you land at 49.6.

He could easily break it, but he could easily come up short if he hits a minor slump.
