Vegas has the Ravens as a +3 point favorite
That basically means the game is really a push.... Because the home team is always given 3 pts due to respect of home field advantage....

I'd rather the Ravens be the underdogs, because so far when everyone picks the Ravens to win and proclaim themselves as "The Top AFC team " they go out and seem to think the opposing team is going to lay down and them the game....
Let them keep that edge, of not getting respect, and wanting to take respect when it isn't given to them....

I think the 49ers defense can say they haven't given up a rushing TD all season, how many did Benson have last Sunday. Not trying to stir up the pot just pointing out a fact.
I am not saying that the 9ers are not due some serious kudos. A 9-1 record speaks for itself, but this team led by this QB has not even sniffed the playoffs in years. I guess we will see Thursday night.

And we are not underdogs in this, by any standard, short of our inconsistent playing. Short week, them coming to us, makes it tougher for them.

The 12th man is crucial in tonights win. Lets go fans, don't rest a minute tonight & lets show everyone who the loudest fans are in the NFL.
Go Ravens!
Agreed. In a close game like this is liable to be with two very good defenses on the field, the importance of the home crowd increases. We've got to stay loud even if/when they score or it looks like momentum is going their way for the moment.

I am so glad that we are the home team in this game. Just think how we would be playing if we had to travel to SF on 4 days rest. Make some noise, Ravens fans.

Where do you see they "should" have won by three? We should have beat them by 30 but Harbaugh felt sorry for them.
Yeah is that what happened? The offense played great at times but several drives just stalled. The defense was getting shredded by a rookie QB with no name receivers. Yes I know who they are but they aren't anyone too special. It's not like AJ Green was playing.

I said 3 because I thought they would have the momentum.

You miss my point. Should. A very meaningless word. It suggests that that past events were inaccurate somehow, which is impossible, since what "should" have happened, in fact did happen.

As I said, we will see Thursday night. And we saw. The 9ers have never been on the field with a defense like the Ravens, as was plainly seen. Hopefully they learned something about playing a real defense and will use that knowledge to beat the Steelers.

That was the point of this thread, the Ravens are great as underdogs...I hope we will keep playing with that mentality

of course, after this win tonight the media will proclaim us the best of the AFC again

They might suggest that to project the semblance of a fair broadcast, but there won't be any consensus. The fact that the so-called experts favored the overrated 49ers this evening is a testament to just how much the media hates the Ravens.

You do not believe that. The media does not like to call us the best at anything. Did you see the highlights after the game? All successful 9er plays and our missed passes . From those highlights it looked like the Ravens lost.

Although I do not think the media hates us, they just hate our small market. Less eyeballs to watch their commercials, so less revenue.

lol... Yep after this game they will praise us until the Cleveland game, this team had better be prepared to beat the Browns its a huge division game against a Rival they better not overlook the Browns..... And Ray Rice had better continue to get his carries.... Against "lesser teams" the gameplan seems to be let's get passing Stats this week and ditch the run game...

I'm not sure why everyone puts so much on the play caller. At the end of the day the players have to execute. The oline deserves alot of credit after not allowing a single sack.

As part of the 12th man at the Game, i must say that the entire place was rockin, my voice was shot by the end of the game, it was practically gone by half time. the place was shaking it was so loud (at least you can imagine the sound of the roar now) ..... We did our jobs! i wore my lucky Jersey and we won the game....... one word describes...epic.
