I would say Vernon Davis is probably more lethal than Frank Gore.

When looking at touches and plays made I think Davis gets the nod. Dude is a freak. Wish the Ravens had him.

We do have a run first offense but Davis is often double teamed. That, in and of itself, is a huge contribution to the offense and noteworthy even if he does not get any stats from it. I'm not saying Gore or Davis is better. But I am saying that they are at least equals and the two players you probably have to worry about the most.

Fair enough, TEs just dont worry me for some reason. I cant remember the last time a TE went off against the Ravens. We always cover them extraordinarily well. I am much more concerned about containing Gore.

I give you that the 9ers have done well playing out here on the east coast. Of course you have been playing the JV east coast teams. Now you are stepping up to the big leagues. You have never even stepped onto the field with a defense like the Ravens. Watch the game and you will see how a real defense stops your run.

Eww.. big whoop!! Thats because teams get frustrated with the run game, and instead go through the air, which works pretty greatly against the 9ers. The Giants, if they had been passing it all game long, would have won that game. They came back from a 2 TD defecit to almost win the game in the 4th. Look, I love the 49ers almost as much as I love the Ravens, but facts are facts.
