Saints Row

Never played them, but they were put out to compete against Grand Theft Auto, So, I'd imagine they are similar to the GTA's.

Saints Row 2 was awesome. It's not a game to be taken seriously. GTA is a little more realistic than Saints Row (if that means anything). But I loved Saints Row 2. Relaxing, blow stuff up, what more do you need in a game. Saints row 3 looks ballin

Saints Row 2 is awesome and Saints Row 3 is just as good, if not better. I'm not too far into the game, cause I don't wanna get bored of it quick or anything. But its pretty good. Like lowrider said, its like GTA but not as realistic.

Saints Row 3 is fantastic. Even better than Saints Row 2, which was immensely better than Saints Row 1.

Think Grand Theft Auto but with a much larger emphasis on absurd, ridiculous humor. Saints Row is more about fun while GTA has become more about story. Both are open-world games but Saints Row 3 is basically cartoon-ish violence but with an adult flair. Everything about it is ridiculous but in a good way.

This is a game where you can take adult toys and use them as weapons. You can always wear giant oversized helmets, use ray guns, and randomly catapult yourself while drinking a 40-oz. Early in Saints Row 3, you jump from a plane and having a gun fight in the air as you're falling, all while avoiding pieces of luggage and trying to catch one of your friends. Sequences as absurd as this are frequent -- and all of them are fun.

My brother has been telling me nothing but good things about it. But how can I possibly fit it in with Skyrim dominating my playing time?! I think I'll wait for it to drop in price in the new year. I can't see it holding its price very long for some reason. Should get it for sub £25 by the Jan sales!

It might still be a bit pricey for the next few months since it's part of a franchise that doesn't do yearly installments. Games like Madden and NCAA Football tend to drop rather quickly, while games like Gran Turismo, Elder Scrolls, etc. have traditionally taken a little longer to drop from the regular retail price. I think that, after the holiday season, you'll start seeing permanent price drops no earlier than March or April.

Yeah agreed, i actually JUST picked up Saints Row 2 probably 2 months ago, and i got like the double pack, which came with Saints Row 1, and it was still $25-30. Good games take a while to drop in price.

The price of recent games has been dropping quite quickly after release over here. I can already get it for £32 ($50) on some online stores!

This game is ridiculous over the top awesome... literally. I did not find myself bored throughout the campaign once, some of the comments had me cracking up pretty good.

I got Saints Row 3 for Christmas. Never played any of the other ones. Sort of shrugged my shoulder but I thought I'd give it a try eventually.

Sounds like it is a good game according to you guys.
