Haloti Ngata

71 posts in this topic

Once again, Ngata isn't much of an impact..... He was late on a bunch of tackles and did very little all day. He looks slow and uninspired... He wasn't even getting double teamed. He's loosing one on one matchups.

Hillis ran right at Ngata..... Yet, Hillis was almost at 5 yds per. People. We'd to realize he isn't dominate every game ....

If you didnt know Haloti has a back injury.

I didn't hear about a back injury, heard about a thigh injury but not back.

To the person saying that Redding and McPhee are scrubs, get real. Not everyone is "perfect" like Ngata.

Haloti's injury is all the more reason for the Ravens to wrap up the AFC North Division title and a bye week so that all of the players can rest and heal up to make this SB run.

Agreed! We need to rest so many players at this point its not even funny!! Ed can always use the rest, Ray, Boldin, C. Williams, Yanda, Webb, Jimmy seems to be injury prone, Flacco's taken some hits and probably has some nicks and I am sure a few others are banged up! Win, fellas...win! Biggest game in recent memory!

Ya know what, for all the criticising Ngata has gotten this year despite playing hurt, he was still good for 65 tackles. Thats pretty insane for a 3-4 defensive lineman. And for all the praise JJ gets for being so great, he recorded 56.

Clearly, Ngata still performed better than many gave him credit for, including myself. 65 tackles, 37 solo, and 5 sacks is crazy for any dlineman, let alone a 3-4 dlineman. And, while playing hurt. Props to 92!

The season is a race and most good racers turn it up towards the end when it matters most. Ngata is a 3/4 linemen meaning he is their to take up blockers and maybe everyonce in awhile make a play on the QB. Mcphee and Kruger and Redding are having great years for a reason
