Isn't Cutler's idol Brett Favre? Maybe he'll sack up like Favre did, but that has not been Cutler's makeup so far during his career. We know Worthlessburger and I believe Stafford are playing with broken thumbs right now as well, but the guy who wouldn't play through an injury in the NFC Championship isn't that tough.

Maybe the Bears can catch fire with Caleb Hanie too. All they need is for him to be somewhat competent and their running game and defense can do the rest. Tall order though and the odds are against them especially with the Lions in the same division. The Lions seem to be a mess right now though even in a win yesterday.

NFL Network is reporting that Cutler has a Fractured Right Thumb and there is no timetable for when he will return.
