Who Covers Vernon Davis?

This is a concern. He's big and fast. If we had a full week to prepare, I would say that you put a package in to get Jimmy lined up on him whenever he is split out. Vernon is going to be a headache. Let's hope that he has one of those bad games because his fam wants too much from him for the game.

TEs usually play a great deal against LBs and safeties. I would like to see Davis get chipped at the line by a LB and have Pollard play a physical style with him.

Problem is if we have one of those games where we don't get pressure considering the speed mismatch.

Agreed. That is why you have to get phyiscal with him. Take that speed away to give the pass rush enough time. Don't get me wrong its a tough assignment. And I'm sure we'll be playing some zone as well.

Pollard and/or McClain..

McClain is one of our most undervalued players and Pollards coverage abilities are a little underrated.
