Massive. Then again, Seattle was worse. Their holding was more "in your face" and the refs still let it go. Not to mention some PI calls that got let go as well. (Seattle that is).

There were some pretty bad calls today but at least they weren't biased about it. Some bad on both sides.

every team holds and its not called, i accept that, but if you call mike oher holding on that call, you have to call it every single play, there just not consistent, that hold was no worse than any "normal" hold/bloack by any other oline player in that game

I think the refs want to see a fair game. Having someone like Ngata isn't fair , so they let them hold to balance the scales.

They probably sent out the memo about Ngata after that first Pitt game.

I am not looking forward to seeing them again.

Dalton is on fire.

I was flipping out over some of the Pass Interference calls....sometimes there was no contact and another time the DB was playing the ball trying to get the INT

...the refs have been horrible, but they finally gave us a break when they overturned that TD

I think that call alone made up and more for any other "missed" call. Unfortunately we came out on the wrong end of the deal but not all is lost and it happens, sadly.

I had mentioned the holding with the people I was watching the game with. Glad I was not the only one. To be honest I see Ngata ans Sizzle held alot and its never called.

This seems like an appropriate time to mention that holding, offensive and defensive, is the worst idea for a penalty in the NFL's storied history. It happens on every single play, as it should be expected when you have massive linemen colliding and pushing and shoving eachother. It is a part of every play, period which is why it is terrible. I would be absolutely fine with doing away with it, you won't hear me complain then when Suggs gets held all day long by Whitworth and Andre Smith. Its when we see that and then Oher gets called for grabbing a little bit of the underside of a Cincy shoulder pad for about one second that makes fans mad about it, the total lack of consistency within the SAME officiating crew in almost every game. You don't expect different crews to be consistent in their interpretations, but just watch, it is happening within the same crews across the league. The game is over though, so no point in worrying about it and there will plenty of holds, called and missed, by the Ravens and against the Ravens, in the next 6 games.

Not quite sure how a correct call can make up for crap calls elsewhere.

Not really, because that was the right call. The right call can't "make up" for something.

Ngata was getting flushed out at the start of the game as well. He has been kind of disappointing me when he's in there on pass rush downs. A lot of the times he can't win 1 on 1 when they were passing.

lol the officials aren't going to see everything that goes on during the game, I know that goes both ways, some just stick out a lot more than others. I seen penalties that could have been called against Baltimore, too that weren't called. That's just part of the game and the way it goes. That pass interference call was PI, the WR got bumped into where he couldn't even try to come back to make a play on the ball, it was an obvious call there. If the WR tries making a play on the ball and isn't able to, it will get called every time. Just my opinion, that went both ways. The officiating was pretty bad all around.

There was bad calls both ways, but how can we sit here and cry about the refs after a win? It's bad enough that we seem to always blame the refs after a loss, but to complain after a win?? Come on now...

Too many Ravens fans see officiating as anti Raven which it's not. League officiating by in large is pro pittsburgh and all the other teams in the AFCN has to overcome it as well. The NFL will do anything to get the Steelers back in the drivers seat...and what does that get the NFL? Money from their massive fanbase... That's what it's all about.

You got a good football team man, I was more worried about facing the Bengals than I am about the Steelers. We know how to beat the Steelers, we brought in pieces just for that game alone....

The Bengals keep drafting well and keep a strong defense and you will be in the hunt every year

Thanks, I like what the future holds as well. I'm tired of losing, I'm ready to start winning more often and being a consistent winner in the NFL where we are never taken lightly. That's what I want, hopefully they'll keep getting better. I want a team like the Ravens & Steelers.
