no he couldnt or torrey still could have scored, your talking about pacmans lively hood here, hes had enough second chances, your trying to tell me (be objective) you dont pull torreys hair if you were him, i sure as hell would, it almost won the bengals the game!! saved a certain TD
Where did I say to not pull his hair there? Nowhere? Yea thats what I thought. What I said was he could have let go of his hair earlier then he did implying said hair was already pulled.

i know hes been good, ive seen highlights, but hes injured today and did he not miss 3/4 games with a hammy?
he will be in the mix just because of the way he was drafted. and he really was a factor every time he played. but this is about torrey.

he will be so great in the next few years. today it seems that he just kepr running on those deep routes and flacco just hit him right on the money. their chemistry will only grow over the time but they are on a good way to say the least. loved what i saw today from those 2!!!

Nah , I don't buy that at all. The assumption being made is that if he wasn't open , it had to be because of rookie route running , not good coverage.

Boldin can disappear , getting one catch on two targets , and it's gotta be because he was covered like a blanket.

Torrey gets held to a different standard , but that will change.

pretty sure i call it fair and just go by what i see but aight..

again, if he let go smith could still have scored, you do not let go in that situation, you do what you can to get the man down and take the penalty if its to be one over a TD, its torreys fault for having his hair out on show, it should be tucked in, but it wont be next game, it will probably never happen again in his career

He pulled him around like a rag doll after Torrey was off his feet in anger. If you couldnt tell that then I dont know what to tell you.

Cut your hair Torrey.
Got to do it! I can't see him wanting to keep it long after today. That play might have cost him 7.

I guess he was just that happy.

Am I the only one who got ticked off when that no good for nothing Bungles player grabbed Torrey's hair?? Too long/gangsta-ish/not tucked in, or not, he's a Ravens brutha who got disgustingly tackled and tossed around. Dude could've been seriously hurt if his leg twisted the wrong way.
Nah. It ticked me off as well. It wasn't so much that he grabbed it but the way he was yanking at it to bring him down. Didn't like it one bit. It is perfectly legal though.

He doesn't have to cut it. Tie it up, tuck it in. Just get it out of grabbing reach.

Every time I see Torrey Smith running I'm surprised by how fast he is. Joe Flacco has got to be happy to finally have WR who can outrun basically any DB in the league. With the kind of deep speed the Cover-2 defense was notably less effective against Joe Cool.

na julio has been really good all year pretty much
The one problem Julio will always have is that the Falcons pretty much sold the farm to get him. They gave up 4 picks, including next year's first round pick, to make the move. If he doesn't at least make a few pro bowls, people will always say the Falcons gave up way too much for him, and I think that maybe down the line, if he doesn't really turn it on, that kind of pressure will get to him.

Torrey has blown my expectations out of the water. His speed is unreal 29 catches for 590 yds and 5 TDs over 20 YPC. With Joe's huge arm they are goong to tear it up for years. I can't wait to see Torrey, Lee, and Q all out there together the rest of the season.

The only drawback to it all is we could have used Torrey in College Park this year. A true stud WR in the making. Great attitude. Love it all. Ozzie has skills.

He keeps impressing me after every game we play, he always comes up with one monster play that plays a big factor into us winning.

This game seemed to be the first time he and Joe were fully on the same page. I noticed that he seems to keep the gas going rather than slowing down on his routes. I wonder if that was the difference.

I keyed in on that most passing plays and it seemed there was NO hitch in his break (or coming out of) and that made all the difference in the world. I am sold 100% Love me some TSmith!

yeah jones has been a little injury prone and although he has been good ill still take Torrey in the late second round, who i see becoming a better receiver than Julio, yeah i said it!!!
