Purple Punishment

Can Everyone Please Chill

11 posts in this topic

With injuries on some key players we are sitting at 6-3. Evans will be back to make 2 deep threats on the field and hopefully Boldin goes into the slot to make his money. We have also been hindered at CB. Jimmy should get significant playing time this weekend. We have not had one game this season as a true team. I think it comes together full circle starting tomorrow. It's been just waiting to explode.

So, everyone chill, watch a full Ravens team play and then make your determinations. I know Ray will be out so we still won't be a full team but I think we have the personell at MLB to make it work.

We should have been able to beat Jax and Seattle with half the starters missing. I'll panic every single time Cameron only gives Rice the ball on the ground twice in an entire quarter. Plus Jimmy should have been playing 2 weeks ago, the way Harbaugh handles young talent is just absurd to me.

....Got anyone you're unhappy with besides Jimmy? Carr was probably the correct choice going into the Seattle game since he's primarily a nickel corner ad went in on nickel packages.

I think at least in nickel packages Jimmy will be outside tomorrow, but yeah.

Overall, I think Harbaugh's done fine with our younger talent.

I would be shocked if the Jaguars don't finish in the top 5 in points allowed and if the Seahawks aren't there around 7 by the end of the season.

I would say Boldin made his money in the Steelers and Cardinals games. Without him, it would have been impossible to win those games.

I agree with those who say tomorrow will be the big story. This is to show that the 2011 Ravens are a different team than years past. They are an attacking offense and more of a play-making defense. Dickson, Pitta, and Smith are starting for the first time in their careers but those excuses needed to go out week 4. I believe in the leadership of this team and I think the coaches are smart enough to see what's working, what's not and make adjustments. They're undefeated at home, undefeated in the division, and 12-0 under John Harbaugh coming off a loss. All that's great, but this about as close to a playoff game as you can get with the loser not being eliminated from playoff contention.

I'll chill when I see Flacco, Reed and Rice holding up the Lombardi on Feb 5th 2012.

P.S - Mr. Evans... return soon please.
