What To Do With Braylon Edwards

3 posts in this topic

Braylon Edwards has been killing me this year. Would you try to trade him in a 12 team league? What receivers could I get for him? I was thinking Plaxico Burress, or someone of that caliber.

The trouble with Edwards is that until he start producing your not going to get a top fantasy WR for him and when he starts producing then you won't want to trade him. The only thing I could think would be to try and trade him and another above average guy to someone who has two good WRs on their team and let them gamble on whether Edwards will ever get any better (the same question the Browns are asking themselves).

PS - If you end up keeping Edwards, watch the Browns QB situation closely because as long as that's unsettled Edwards isn't going to be producing much.

Your probably not going to get Plaxico Burress for Edwards right now. You might be able to get Moss, but he's in the same boat.

When your trading reciever for reciever - trades rarely get done. Try mixing in another player. Trade for Chris Johnson , but mix in a middle of the road reciever for them and a RB for you.

You have to buy low, sell high. In this case you are selling low, so what you might get is not that great.

All honestly though, I'd stick with Edwards.
