Ravens Fans Always Heard

24 posts in this topic

So far this season most fans have said we needed to go deep more and we have. Most fans said they want more playing time for Smith and this week you will get that. D. Reed not returning punts, he is not. Good or bad folks our voices are heard so good or bad we kind of had an outcome on the season so far. Is this a good thing ?

They didn't listen too well when we told them to beat the Jags , Titans , and Seahawks.

Is Cam still around ?

I think I have some doubts about your premise.

If they ACTUALLY listened to the fans and took advice from this forum:

- Tyrod would have started the games after the Titans, Jags and this week.
- Kindle would be starting
- Jimmy Smith would be starting
- David Reed would have walked back from Seattle.
- Doss would be playing
- Kundiff would have been cut this past Sunday.

LOL

We the fans usually just point out the obvious. I don't think what we say has much if any effect on the team. Head coaches have a saying that when you starting listening to the fans you start sitting with them too.........

That is O.K. The chant of "Cam must go" is a perrenial theme especially when the offense stalls which it has done a few times this season.

I think that sums it up. The fact is , the coaches really do have access to loads of info that fans don't , so I'd be worried if it looked like they were ignoring that info and making moves to please the fans. Make moves that result in more wins and the fans will be happy.

Cam would be long gone lol. And it makes sense to not let reed return no more. Plus Jimmy was gonna work his way up and get more playing time regardless

The Ravens "hear" us, but to think that they start players, cut players, trade for players, etc. because of what we say is fool-hardy.

That is only really the beginning. My personal favorites are the practice squad players that people fall in love with for no particular reason. Like Eron Riley.

We would also have tried to sign every cb, wr, and pass rusher that was on the market. And Troy Smith would be the starter (that was the one that made me the angriest).

Truth is, no one listens to us. The reason why David Reed is not returning kicks is because he fumbled 3 times in 2 weeks not because we had a 15 page thread about cutting him. And seriously, if Harbaugh/our FO went on this message board for advice from a guy who calls himself lowrider, then he should be fired and never should be allowed to be in the NFL again

If the coaches actually listened to the fans, how many times would Joe Flacco, Cam Cameron and John Harbaugh been fired this season? At least 3 that I know of.

I have to agree, it's a nice thought, but it just sounds silly that they are listening to little ol' us.

Most fans happen to have this thing called common sense. Jimmy is fast, tall physical corner, he should be playing. Reed is the cause of high blood pressure for many Ravens fan, neither him or the other Reed should be returning ANYTHING. Smith playing I don't mind as much if the reason is to have him fully healthy and though Reed hasn't been a fumble machine til recent he's been a shaky returner. Someone else said Cam is still here which is a perfect point. People have also said Rice should never have single digit carries, yet again two times in a season when a game is within read he does. Cam and Harbaugh at times both reek of arrogance.

I don't care if they don't listen to me or other fans. But when Ray Lewis and Terrell Suggs says " run Ray Rice more..." they need to listen to them. Like R.Lewis said in an article this same thing happened with Jamal Lewis through a 4 game stretch (1-3 record) then Lewis averaged about 28 carries a game rest of season and playoffs.
While this offense is not as one-dimensional as that one was, Ray Rice should still have 18-30 carries depending on number of carries R.Williams gets also.

I dont think the FO has listen or done anything we have asked, i think it was their plan the whole time honestly. Flacco has a cannon arm, he should use it and has, he has been over throwing T.smith all season too. Hopefully Evans plays and is atleast 90 percent and Flacco wont be over throwing him. Flacco said it himself, he doesnt have to worry about over throwing him. Gotta love it.

You would think that...Even though they are defensive players.

Not sure why anyone thinks they listen. In fact, they have said straight up that they don't listen to a thing that anyone outside of the team says. Don't forget, we don't know football. And it's about football. John says so.
