Don't Buy In To The Media Mind Job!

OK, you would think we are under by .500 by the comments I see in the media and by some fans. Yes, losing to supposed under par teams is.....weird, but would you feel better if we had lost to the Jets, Texans, and the Steelers?....NO!

At least with these losses we know why....we did it to ourselves. It's not that any team was simply better then us. So can we please stop acting like the season is in ruins and realize that it could be a lot worse. Like for instance losing twice to a divisional opponent and once to a playoff caliber team.... LIKE THE STEELERS HAVE!

We know when we swept them, no one said hardly a word in the media, now they won't shut up. Understand this is a pro-steeler media hyping up the Ravens fan base.......In other words, it's going to be alright purple brothers and sisters, wait and see.

GO RAVENS!

True, I wouldn't want to be in the Steelers' position, getting swept by divisional rivalry.

But, it's just hard to watch our SB potential players losing to sub par teams.

We still can control our own fate, coming to this Sunday matchup with the Bengals. We know the Steelers are rooting for the Bengals to win....

This is sort of like panic situation; we can't choke......

Like most fans, I always come into the season full of optimism. Sweeping the Steelers seemed an unreasonable goal but we did it. So why can't we win the division and play the Packers in the big game?

We win our next two games and everything will be forgotten about Seattle. Lose to the Bengals.....i don't even want to imagine.

We have to beat the Bengals, no if ands or buts about it. We beat the Bengals and we're back atop the division.

I'd rather us have our record and a divisional sweep against the team that always goes to the playoffs anyways.. jus sayin
I do not watch anything the week after a loss so I cannot say that the media is pro-steelers. I've always seen the media as pro-history, which is only subjective when talking about the current i know. But that's how it is. On all weeks not named ravens-week i hate the pats the most and they suck now, but the media still has them over yall? figure that one out

Everyone, including the media, lives in the moment.

One week, you're riding high because you had a great game. The next week, you're suddenly the worst in the world because you lost by a close margin.

Losing always sucks. It doesn't matter who you beat or who you lose to -- the feeling of winning and losing are both consistently good and bad. That said, a loss is always swept under the rug by a win, and vice versa.

No team in the AFC has less losses than the Ravens. Only two teams have more wins than the Ravens, one of those teams just lost their starting QB for the season, the other team's QB has a broken finger and two of their 3 losses came against the Ravens. Looking purely at record, we are in good shape, looking at the pattern of inconsistency, we're in deep doo doo.

Wow, that is the deepest (and coolest) I have ever seen anybody define the feelings behind "losing sucks!"

Well done! :D

I see where you are coming from, but under performing is never acceptable. Maybe I'm wrong, but to me it points directly to coaching. If the coaches are truly preparing for an opponent; studying the film, developing offensive and defensive gameplans, and practicing to those gameplans (which should include how to use your best players) we would not be losing to the bottom feeders of the league.
