Still Hearing It

I am still hearing it from the freaking Steelers fan. I HAD one friend who is a fan (only cause her boyfriend is) tell me that we should have just given up towards the end of the game and just laid down or went away and let the Steelers win instead of throwing pass after pass to eventually get the game winning TD! Seriously? Obviously she doesn't understand the game and needs to learn that no team will back down or lay down for anyone. I am still racking my brain trying to figure this out! Anyone else got any stories like this one?

It can be done! But it will be EXTREMELY hard to beat a team 3 times in one season. Especially if we have to do it on the road!!

Not as stupid as you think. I have a friend who was a Ravens fan ,was at the Christmas game a couple years ago in Ravens colors, who is now a Steeler fan because her kid is dating a Steelers fan. She was spouting all this BS about the Steelers storied past, yada yada-- make me smh.

I will never understand that, I bleed purple and black. As soon as i wake up in the morning, one of the first things that comes to mind our my RAVENS.

Oh come on! She would have a smidge of credibility if she became a Steelers fan because her kid was one, but it's because of who her kid is dating, no dice.. Her kid's girlfriend/boyfriend must be either uberawesome, or really rich.

I agree with that! i live in VA and it's Steelers everywhere! Before that it was the Cowboys! I can't like a team because everyone else likes them or because how many rings they have. Half the so called "fans" don't even know the history of the Steelers. All they know is they have 6 rings and they are the team of "right now"

Ugh, tell me about it. I was down at the Hard Times in Fairfax. It's a Redskins and a Steelers bar, no love for the Ravens whatsoever. Screw them, I'm not going back there again.
