As a huge South Park fan, I think it's just wrong that they nicknamed Andy Dalton Red Rocket. Lol. But they're not a team we can take lightly. No team is at this point.

Not that it matters (I'm just being a little anal here) but the nickname is Red Rifle. Just as silly if you ask me.

I have found that when winning at all Bengals' fans are the most arrogant. (as a whole, not all of them)

That said, doesn't really matter in the end. I do believe we'll have the last laugh this Sunday though. We show up vs winning teams and we're kind of ticked off lol

That's even worse than Red Rocket. I don't care. They can talk all they want. I'll wait until Sunday to quiet them.

This. I don't. What do you expect them to say?

"Omg the Ravens are such a better team in every aspect, we are gonna lose so hard"

Obviously...

Bengals fans can have that opinion. They have been 1 score away from winning any of the games they lost. Their defense has played great this year and Their rookie QB is playing pretty good and right now between the two, Flacco doesn't look any better than him, some might say Dalton is playing better. Let's see what Ravens team shows up and lucky for Joe; Jonathon Joseph is in Houston and Leon Hall is on IR.

What is Greens status? My buddy, a bengals fan, says he's out but I have not seen that anywhere yet.

If the shoe was on the other foot, you would be saying the same thing so c'mon man! Its very reasonable for them as well as any other team in the league to feel the same way about us. Even some of our fans feel this way so....

We may lose to the worst teams, but at least we still beat the best teams. That's what counts.

Last year the Packers lost to Washington, Miami, and Detroit
The year before that, New Orleans lost to Tampa Bay and Carolina...
Great find! Hopefully that trend bodes well for us too.

Yes, but as opposing fans, you will look for the weaknesses in your opponents regardless of the positives and that's what the Bengal fans are rightfully doing. Look in the archives of what we said about our opponents and we didn't focus on their strengths, we focused on their weaknesses looking at their stats and who they lost to. It's very reasonable for them to think like they do and I wish other teams thought like the fans but their not stupid!

I just care that we beat these guys. The only good thing about this matchup is that JJ is in Houston and Hall is out for the season. Hope he recovers okay, but Joe has always struggled against those two and the Bengals' D. I'm hoping this year is the year he can change all of that.

The Bengals broadcaster was on the Norris & Davis show this morning and he said Green should be good-to-go this week, but we'll see how limited he is in practice today... there could be swelling, etc. that may cause some issues.

This thread is really curious. How much respect to the Bengals get here? Next to none? I mean c'mon....its their forum. What do you expect?

Now who is the grown up? That's something I would usually say.

But I agree. We always seem to poke at other teams fanbases, but we can't seem to take it ourselves.

They can say whatever they want on their board, they can come on our board and say whatever, and we can say whatever we want about the Bengals but who really cares, unless somehow all their members and all of our members are suiting up on Sunday for 60 minutes of Football than who really cares.

It's time for them to get their second straight wake up call.
I wish I could suit up, while I was riding the pine I would sneak up behind cam and steal his playbook, and hit him over the head with my common sense stick. Then hand the playbook to Joe and let him burn it. As I was being escorted out of the stadium by overjoyed security I would hear everybody at the bank erupt as Ray Rice broke a long run from an audible by Joe. Then while I am outside tailgating I watch Joe make another audible and hit Q on a slant for 24 yard and then follow it up with a 56 yard bomb to Torrey from a play from his newly found wristband.

I sincerely hope that the Bengals win BUT, they are not the better team.

1. They still play in Cincy
2. They still have Marvin Lewis as a head coach
3. Cincy fans live in the basement of the outhouse and on that rare occasion they get to see the world above the toilet seat they get a little goofy.

Go Bengals

Wasn't it just this past offseason that some of their fans were selling their fandom on ebay????? Now they taste a little bit of success and their fans are all back and crowning them champs. Ha ha ha. Same old bungle fans.

Well, when you read other forums, you better expect it. I know from visiting this forum in past years, it was the same way. It's just part of it, I guess. I don't get into any of that, I know what kind of challenge the Bengals will have on Sunday. I'm just glad to actually see some optimistic people on that board for once, generally it's all negativity so I hope things continue to go well. I don't think a lot of people are realists a lot of the time when it comes to their respective football team, I just hope the Bengals can put up a good fight on Sunday.
