I was a former WoW player and the answer is YES!! You'll love it. It's like Rift without the MMO factor. No waiting for raiders, no wiping on bosses cause someone is n00bing it out.

You can play as an orc, different elves, different humans, cat-like species and a lizard like species.

It won't disappoint.

Well I have to say. I am pretty much unstoppable right now. Fully equiped with Daedric Weapons and armor, Smithed and Enchanted to the roof. I let my assistant go so she cant get in my way and I am running through anything that moves

Have you made it to level 50 yet? I'm almost half way between 49 and 50.
I'm guessing 50 is the max.

I'm bored crushing everything that moves and I'm tempted to start over as a Khajit for sneak kill fun.

Upcoming Spoiler Alert

So I finishing up the College of Winterhold quest line where I had to go to Labrythinian. I get to the last boss and face the Dragon Priest Morokei. Needless to say I was unprepared for this fight. I tried just about everything, rushing him, magic. Then I tried arrowing the [Miller Lite] out of him and used Lydia to tank him. That worked. She was chasing him out of the room and I had him cornered! Then Lydia came rushing over to him just as I had shot an arrow at him. Can you guess what happened next? That's right you guess it, she took an arrow in the knee! lol

I was laughing so hard even in my frustration, I couldn't believe it! So after redoing it again this time Lydia cornered him and all I had to was arrow him to death.

I needed some reat after that match lol

I lost track how many times I killed her with an arrow. Must say though, I never managed to hit her in the knee.

The best thing about this game is that so many of the NPC's sound like Schwarzenegger.
It's awesome hearing Arnie say, "Let me guess, someone stole your sweet roll?"

So I'm pretty pissed off right now. It seems that buying the game on PS3 was a bad idea, not quite as bad as this:

..but still pretty bad.

It turns out that once the game save hits 5-6MB it gets hit with crippling framerate issues that only get worse with time. The kicker is that the last patch might be as good as it gets, apparently a developer from Bethesda has come out and said that their hands could be tied when it comes to this because of how the PS3′s memory works, so they might not be able to fix it.

I've had a few framerate problems on the 360, but they don't last very long.
Maybe you can trade it in for the xbox version?

Do you mean Demon Souls (released Oct '09) or Dark Souls (released Oct '10)?

I friggin' hate Sony. I used to work at a place that sold home and car audio. This was about 15 years ago, at that time, Sony's service was absolutely atrocious. Not sure if they've gotten better, but I haven't purchased anything Sony in about 20 years.

Unfortunatley my wife was with me on the trip to my local store today and wouldn;t have been pleased if i used the money i had with me to buy it rather than going for the food shopping we where there for in the first place!

I'll make sure she stays behind next time! lol!!

Save money and just trade in all the games you won't be playing once you buy Skyrim

I'm approaching 5,000 and I haven't had too many issues. When I first put the game in it froze during the carriage ride and it once quit on me while I was entering a new area. Those are my only complaints and they could be the result of the game having passed through a few hands before getting to me (library copy).

And I was just hit by a wall of nails and died... joy.

I've only had it freeze on me once, which is still way less than any other game I've sunk as much time into
