I do not think we have gained any appreciable yardage trying to run the ball out of the end zone this year. Just take a knee and take our 20 yards. No chance of fumbles, or other bone headed errors.

Your right, believe it or not Cundiff is very educated, if you ever watched his interviews , he even said it, running it out is averaging 20 yds or lower.

Wow! You went there! Invoking the name of "He Who Shall Not Be Spoken"...so let it be written, so let it be said.

So if we're allowed to bring him back up now, remember when he used to block our own linemen? Wow. I guess it always CAN get worse...

So why isn't anyone blaming Cundiff? He missed two field goals that would have made us won. He's been missing field goals a lot this year, and this is David's first time ever fumbling on a KR.

Reed fumbled once against the Steelers last week too. And you're right, Cundiff should've made those field goals. I understand that it was a tough environment, but thats what we signed him to a five year contract to do...

Yeah, Cundiff could have offset the fumbles if he made the kicks, but I don't think there is a comparison between missing kicks ,and giving the other team the ball on your own 20 yd line or less twice. I don't think anyone is willing to let Cundiff slide. Its just that Reed fumbles put Seattle in the position to put two TDs on the board! They didn't make it, but they could have.

He just is not good at 50+ yards. Its not like this was some secret kept from the coaching staff. Anything under that he is great. IMO they should have punted rather than risk a field goal, knowing Cundiff's weakness.

And Walker before him.
Frank Walker was pretty bad, but at least his redeeming quality was his performance in postseason games. Walker's play wasn't nearly as bad as some other players before and after him. Most of all, there really weren't any games you could pin solely on Walker since there were usually other players who played just as badly around him in those losses.

Well your right about that because its been so long, i cant remember. But there usually arnt that many player if any that you can put sole blame on for costing a game, except for D.Reed of course, i think ill remember that for atleast 7 to 10 yrs like it was yesterday.
