Youth Injection

Is some of this a result of the injection of youth on this team? I wonder because with veterans you get less ups and downs. And each player adds a piece to a team's personality. It's a collective.

Don't get me wrong, I still think the front office went in the right direction. I think we had to and the proof is in the two wins against Pittsburgh but then we also continue to play down to the level of lesser teams. That is a sign of youth also.

No, we have plenty of veterans whose experience will counter the inexperience of our rookies/1st year guys

to me...after 10 games in the regular season...that "youth" talk goes out the window bruh! when we win...everyone is happy with the young bucks....when we lose...they get the blame because of their "youth." naw! the Ravens just didn't take care of their business...again!

Understood and agreed. The Ravens didn't take care of business. But David Reed is a second year guy. He fumbles, which happens and then loses his head and gets an unsportmanlike. It would be easy to think he was trying to make something happen at the wrong time when he fumbled the second time. I know there were other reasons we lost this game. But I think we would have won it without those two fumbles, despite all the other miscues.

But again, I was just asking an opinion.

Except the WRs and TEs are young players with no OTAs and limited training camp and it shows.

these cats have been practicing every week for 10 weeks now. we can't keep blaming their poor performance on the lack of OTAs. the Packers are 8-0 and they also had no OTAs. sure, everything can help but we can't keep using that excuse imo.

One other positive of this youth injection...Ed Dickson

He and Pitta will be Ravens for a long time. Ed had a monster game, too bad it went to waste

No but rookies start hitting the wall around now and if that practiced all the razzle dazzle crap instead of fundamentals it shows more with the youngun's. Its just so frustrating and the ups and downs are what young teams do

Upside is they are not all in the training room every week.

True, our guys didn't take care of business. That is agreed. But the biggest mistakes did come from a 2nd year guy. I'm just remarking that the vets didn't make the big boo boos. The whole team was a little flat but the biggest issue was those two fumbles deep in our territory. It left the derense out to dry.
