We didn't have to be one dimensional. Down by 15 , two and a half minutes into the 3rd qtr , is not panic time.

See the post I just put up on the shotgun to see how other teams have come back late from big deficits this year.
We didn't have to be but almost any team down by 15 points in that situation would have gotten out of their gameplan. Also, you speak of other teams coming back from a big deficit, we are one of those teams that have done that but that doesn't mean you gone do that every week.

I don't know about everyone else but I don't feel good about Sunday's game. We haven't really looked all that sharp in the last few games. If it wasn't for the miraculous catch, then we would have lost to the Steelers too. Now, there's a quote that Harbaugh is worried about the Bengals' defense. He should worry when we get beaten by 3 bad teams. Still, our offensive line looked pretty good against the Seahawks. I don't remember seeing many penalties for holding or false starts this time. It's the lack of offensive firepower that worries me. Our defense looks shaky at times too. Britt and Lynch had our number. Let's just beat the Bengals and keep our home record in tact.

Everyone is saying that historically we have a tough time with Cincy. Everyone seems to be forgetting that this season history is meaningless.

Come on!

Historically we cannot beat the Steelers with Ben under center. Historically we cannot beat the Steelers at home, with Ben under center. Historically we have very little problem with teams we are "supposed" to beat. Shall I go on? History is being rewritten this season. What our history "was" with the Bengals should not hold water, since we have been kicking history to the curb all season.

I have to feel good about this one. jaege makes a good point about history not being a factor once you take the field. I know the offense is capable of moving on the 4-3 cover 2. It's like Rodgers and the Pack slicing through the Bears cover 2 back in week 3, when a lot of people (myself included) knew that the Bears have that matchup advantage, and were shocked when GBs west coast system just tore it to shreds.

I say we take a couple of shots early. Start fast and start testing their depth at CB early and often. We should be able to hit on some big plays as long as Flacco and co. have their timing down. It was off in Seattle.

gb's offense is ten times better than ours.. When our offense has been its best this year, thats the same level green bay is every week.. Their offense is amazing so comparing the two is pointless

My prediction for this game: We're going to miss on a shot or two early and for the most part struggle to sustain long drives. Also struggle in the redzone. I like our defense though. They, even more than ST, have a chip on their shoulder this week.

Whatever happens, we have to be more balanced on offense. Passing 50 times and running less than 10 will cost us every game for the rest of the season.

I want to see our D create some turnovers and some pressure on the QB, both have been lacking recently. And some more balance and consistency by the offense as well.

I hope we work the run in this week and hell if you're gonna throw 50 times from shotgun, throw in a HB draw! I really hope Ray Rice gets his touches on the ground. I will put my money on an end-around too since it worked twice last week. They definitely need to split the carries and when we get the run established attack the corners and get our TEs out in space. They're so good at bringing down the ball.

I think the coaching staff is trying to push down everyones throat that Flacco is an elite QB by having him throw more than he needs to. When really, it's just embarrassing our team and the play makers who only get 8 touches a game!

I have tickets for the 9ers game next Thursday. An 8! hour drive, I don't know how I'll feel about going against them if we don't make a statement against the Bengals. It helps Leon Hall is out though, him and Joseph had Flaccos number in previous games. Should be a good match up for us.

Harbaugh has lost his balls when it comes to this team, when he first got here he was stern and wanted us to play like a raven. Now he compliments the other team for beating us and makes too many damn excuses for why we lost. Bisciotti needs to realize that if he doesnt step in, we will all be talking about "what if's" at the end of the year. Ray and Reed wont be here forever. We better step up our damn game. If not ultimately Harbaugh is responsible for the team. If he cant get the job done then fire his [profanity deleted],

Just a warning to everyone in the western/southern part of Maryland, the game will be blacked out due to NFL rules for the Dallas/Washington game. More details: http://www.the506.com/temp11.html

Guess I'm going to Looneys.

Cincy has one hell of a pass rush. But their slow to get going in games. If the Ravens offense isn't playing at a 'polished level' there's gonna be some problems. Expect the Bengals D to be more aggressive with their play calling with each successive offensive possession by the Ravens. Flacco should hold on to the ball "more tight than normal", cause their gonna be coming at him from all directions.

I'm confident we beat cincy. Our guys are pissed and we have beat every "good" team we've played so far. They kept the pitt game within a TD, so I think they will stay in the game until the 4th. Just can't see our guys losing this one at home. They know to much is riding on this season now to just go through the motions/play dumb football.

The Ravens' Oline is coming off their strongest performance of the season. Birk and Yanda are the best at their positions in pass protection, Grubbs is back to his old self, and McKinney and Oher are both steadily improving.

Thank god, Reed has already cost us one game. Not sure about Laquan though since he has fumbled twice on returns too. I'd like to see what Tandon can do.

From PFT.com, "If the Bengals were 3-6, they’d have a good chance to beat the Ravens, since the Ravens overlook the bad teams. Since the Bengals are 6-3, the Ravens will be ready to roll into a tie with the Steelers atop the AFC North." That pretty much sums it up.

i have tears of joy right now......i truly believe in the ravens i bleed purple and black. we are going to shock the world because losing them 2 games jax & seattle brought us closer together. we have heard it from critics, nfl network, espn, and others how bad we played. i know the ravens didn't play bad it was the play calling for our offense... which put us in no win situations. player's play/ coaches coach. shock the world ravens......

Just to further emphasize how unbalanced the offense has been this season, Flacco is currently on pace for the sixth-most passing attempts in league history.
