It's pretty bad when a Steeler fan on a Ravens board is making much more sense than the Ravens posters.

It just comes with the territory

As a Steeler fan, I am no fan of Harbaugh but Rex Ryan is a side show at head coach and he would attract attention you simply don't want or need. Ryan is no head coach.

You are correct.

The better team won! Pete Caroll or whoever was coaching that team came with fire and was the better team on Sunday.
We just need get back to practice win, lose or draw lets get ready to play the next game... Much more important IMO.
But we are really the better team. We played down to them. We let them win. They should not have beat us. But thats our fault. Congrats to Seattle, but Harbs needs to get this team in a better mindset. I feel like when the whole team has a history of playing down to bad teams, the HC is to blame.

We messed up. I have defended Harbaugh and Joe till the end, but this loss is too far. I will stand by my defenses of Flacco till the end, but week after week we hear Harbaugh say we can't look past any team, and yet again we lose against a 1-2 win team. While Rex Ryan goes to the AFC championship game with INFERIOR talent. What is the difference? Coaching. And I have no faith in this coaching staff anymore.

It comes down to this, we lost because of our ST, to be more specific , we lost because of D.Reed , that and the two missed fiedgoals.
Im sick of this, if you look at the steelers schedule, they could win the rest of the season, that means we can not lose at all or we will being playing for a wild card, which should have never come down to this. Im pissed because we should be Undefeated right now or the very least only lost 1 game. Im starting to fume up again. dam it. this sucks.

San Fran knew they were a better team than Tampa Bay. And guess what? They won. 48-3. 49ers smoked Tampa Bay, but we lose to the Titans, almost get shutout by Jacksonville, and get embarrased by the Seahawks. Jim knows hwo to coach a football team, and I just don't know if John can do it as well as Jim. Jim is 8-1 with Alex Smith. That speaks for itself.

No we didn't. It is a team game. Regardless of how poorly Reed played, and he played poorly, one player can't be blamed for a loss. What if Flacco doesn't miss Torrey? What if our WRs don't drop passes? What if our PROBOWL running back gets even 15 carries as opposed to 5? What if the defense remembers how to tackle? What if we sack Tavaris Jackson more than once? What if we get a turnover?

We lost as a team. Blame Reed all you want, but you lose the game as a team. Everybody could have done better. EVERYBODY.

We can agree to disagree, yea its a team sport but you cant tell me if D.Reed didnt fumble those not 1, 2 balls, that game would have had a different outcome. It would have been nice if our kicker made those two field goals too. It is what it is. We have been playing with crap field position all yr and still making something out of nothing. Plus the average kick return is at the 20 yd line so to me it was pointless.

Rex Ryan is not the solution to anything Ravens related...I guess Sanchez should be our starting QB.

Ryan's good for a Ravens win the past two seasons! Cha-ching!

No doubt its a different ballgame. But if Flacco connects with Torrey on that bomb its also a different ballgame.

Yea and thats where Lee Evans comes to mind, Flacco said, he never has to worry about over throwing Lee. I think he comes back next week too. Also you know they practice the deep ball probably more than anything and you would think they would have it down by now or atleast catch 50% of the deep balls. Plus the ones that are perfectly thrown to Torrey , he drops, (stealers game)

Rex Ryan is nothing more then a Leader of the New York Jets and a solid motivator at that... All his players can attest to that... Those guys will get there act together and you will see them come January...

Rex's team lost the Miami btw......

He is/was not the answer for the Ravens........
Nyj won 24-6 this yr and second meeting week 17...

That said
Nyj worse record than us
Gave up more point and scored less
So yeah I can see how one would think rex is better
I mean he has guaranteed multiple super bowls so he has that going for him.

As for dumb thing coaches do its not like he misunderstood his teams playoff chances before or anything like that...

People can say what they want about the Jets record but they have one less win and worse personnel.
Worse at what positions?
Wr? No
te? No
Ol? No
Cbs? No

I'd say we are about even in regards to overall personnel but I'll let you defend your statement

I don't see how all of a sudden Harbaugh is a terrible coach who allows his team to look past weaker opponents. Before this season I believe that the Ravens had one loss to a team that would not end up in the playoffs in the Harbs era. This season they have three, but they also have two wins over the Steelers, one on the Texans, and one over Rex's Jets, all of whom are playoff contenders to some degree.

I agree that it's frustrating to loss a game like this, but part of it was an unpredictable phenomenon with David Reed fumbling away two KRs deep in Ravens territory. Take away those 10 points and the end score puts the Ravens in the lead, not to mention that had the Ravens not fallen behind by so much they would have been able to run the ball to Rice more often, something that was not being ineffective when we stopped.

The point here is that Rex Ryan is not magically making his team work with zero talent. He has assembled a buttload of talent and is constantly eating his words.

This thread is silly for simple fact if ravens were losing games like the Jets people would be calling for Rex to be fired..... They Jets are an annual 6th seed that backs into the playoffs..... They constantly talk more than they perform..... And are currently suffering the same offensive identity crisis as the Ravens.....

He made to afc championship ( well Somehow I don't think that would be satisfying enough, since we made to afc championship and lost also ).

Qb Yes
RB Yes
WR Tie or Better(When healthy)
TE Even
OL Even(Their line isn't as good as you may think)
Cbs as a whole squad I want to say even but will give them the edge.
Safety Yes
LBs Yes
D Line YES.

The only real advantage is Revis. You look at the players on defense and that comes down to coaching and scheming. Rex gets his players to play better. Yes they got destroyed by the Pats but Sanchez and the offense didnt do the defense any favors. There are only so many times you can let Brady get the ball. Add in the fact he has a lead and you cant just focus on rushing him and problems will occur. The Jets were in that game til the 3rd and lack of productivity on offense killed their chances along with a dumb timeout. Also, I'm not saying fire Harbs(different opinion about Cam though), just he needs to start holding players and coaches accountable(though he probably does behind closed doors). I'm sure you're tired of hearing the same responses after losses to inferior teams. You can't justify Rice only running 5 times when you're only down 12 at the half.

Biscotti isn't going to clean house. At best we'll lose Cam.
Who would you want to replace Cam Cameron with... where you are sure the same excuses wouldn't arise that the problem is, again, the offensive coordinator?
