Rex Ryan

We messed up. I have defended Harbaugh and Joe till the end, but this loss is too far. I will stand by my defenses of Flacco till the end, but week after week we hear Harbaugh say we can't look past any team, and yet again we lose against a 1-2 win team. While Rex Ryan goes to the AFC championship game with INFERIOR talent. What is the difference? Coaching. And I have no faith in this coaching staff anymore.

The challenge was dumb and ST coaching is horrid but other than booting Cam and Rosburg I don't know what will change.

I think this week Harbs needs to really get these players pissed off and itching to batter the Bengals. That is something that Rex is obviously better at.

I have to agree honestly. The Ravens have actually had issues with playing down to competition for a while, last year we were just a bit luckier.

Harbs is a good coach. He always seems to have Rex's jock in his hands when they play.

There's obviously something wrong up at 1 Winning Drive, though... dunno what it is.

See, this is my gripe with Harbs. He throws the flag at bad times. Good times too, I mean we led the league in successful challenges coming into this one (and still might). But I swear sometimes he thinks he can win any challenge any day.

Rex's team lost the Miami btw......

He is/was not the answer for the Ravens........

Maybe you're right. But I have seriously overrated John Harbaugh. If we had the hardest schedule in the league we might be undefeated. 4-0 against good teams. 2-3 against, bad teams, fuggedaboutit.

DId anyone else notice Wallace had at least 4-6 seconds to throw on ALL day? WHERE is Kindle?????? Also, is anyone else tired of seeing Flacco try to force practically EVERY throw??! It seems like when the receiver is covered or even double teamed he forces it, and when the recieiver gets open he under/over throws... Just discouraging to see this knowing this was yet another (3 so far) blown opportunity to establish us as the team to go through in the AFC... We could've very well squandered a potential first round bye and home field advantage... lets hope not...

NOOOOOOOOO! Im so sick. Smh

Ha I guess the good news is, if we make the playoffs we only play good teams, which we have played very well against this year. Sorry for my rant, it is just frustrating to see a team so talented to perform against a team like the Ospreys like that.

At this point in the season it looks like all those Rex Ryan pre gaurantees are panning out for them... Jets look like the AFC bid in the Superbowl as much as I would like to say the Ravens this year has been a big waste of time....

I would trade John for Jim straight up. Jim is so much better than John, and its so obvious.

Anyone who'd get in a fight Ditka is ok in my book.

Uh is this sarcasm? I'm not sure the Jets even make the playoffs right now.

Why was the challenge dumb? It was the only chance we had at that point. They had a first down and even with our 2 timeouts could have run the clock down to 15 or 20 seconds, kicked a FG, kicked off............. game over.

With all of the bad things that happened during this game, we were in a position to win with 6 minutes left and them pinned on the 10.
At that point, the D just folded like a wet paper bag. Period.

I think John is a good coach. He certainly wasn't the reason we lost the game today.

It was special teams DAVID FRIGGIN REED?!?!?! bang head! and the Dead Man Walking - aka Cam Cameron

I was hoping Rex Ryan and the Jets would get spanked by the Patriots, at home, on national TV, completing the season sweep... so much for this thread.

The better team won! Pete Caroll or whoever was coaching that team came with fire and was the better team on Sunday.
We just need get back to practice win, lose or draw lets get ready to play the next game... Much more important IMO.

Nothing is going to happen mid season! God give it a rest. Let the cards fall where they lie, and see what adjustments we make after the season. I would be very unhappy if Cam is back, but he is not going anywhere mid season. To suggest otherwise is simply not rational... kinda like Cams play calling. Ryan's Jets are not doing well, and we absolutley obliterated them. The Jets also lost in the playoffs both years to the exact same team we did (Colts and Steelers) so how the hell does that make Ryan anybetter? Ryan is a fat big mouthed slob who constantly makes an [profanity deleted] out of himself. The Ravens have had better regular season records and the Jets have barely squeaked into the playoffs both years. Not saying Harbs is a whole lot better than Ryan, but both teams have had very similar success, neither has gone to a super bowl, and the Jets just got swept by the Pats.

This again. Prior to this season I believed this. If the draft choices would have remained the same I feel we could have won one with Rex as head coach and players wouldn't have allowed losses to inferior competition as we have. I don't know if we'd have the same record or sweep but I guarantee Rex would have gotten the best out of his players each week and make noticeable adjustments in game. I also don't think Cameron would still be here. Can't close the door on Harbaugh though because if you are going to give Flacco the growing pains excuse you must also remember that Harbs is still fresh in his coaching career.

As a Steeler fan, I am no fan of Harbaugh but Rex Ryan is a side show at head coach and he would attract attention you simply don't want or need. Ryan is no head coach.

It's pretty bad when a Steeler fan on a Ravens board is making much more sense than the Ravens posters.
