Maybe Harbs is letting our players sit to much.....What I'm referring to is J. Smith I see him running around on ST. Now before people slam me re read the start...Key word "maybe". Are we trying to let people rest more in hopes of a playoff run? Crap I would rather play the guy's for that home field and by. Smith would have done a much better job than Carr this I'm sure of, if he can bounce around and tackle on ST he can sure bump and grind in the fourth quarter as we needed him....Just a thought.

The 3 turnovers really hurt because all of them started the Seahawks so deep in the Ravens zone. The 2 fumbles by Reed and the Flacco INT started them at the 4 yard line.

Those 9 free points hurt the most. The Ravens D somehow held them to just those 3 FG on those drives.

Question, is it against the rules for Harbaugh to approach Cam on the sidelines and say HEY RUN THE DAMN BALL!

How does he keep getting away with steering this offense toward the Pass over 45 times a game and barely run the ball. Why did we get Leach again?

Same thing I was wondering when we were passing with first and one on the goal line.

Keep in mind passing is what won the game for us a week ago.

That said I agree RR needed more carries, but we do have a passing game that usually is effective.
That is why we got Boldin.

I didn't watch the game. What did David Reed do that has everyone so mad at him? Besides the fumbles..
If someone answered you I missed it - sorry! Besides the fumbles? Well that was plenty in and of itself for why they're mad but he also had a "taunting" penalty for dropping the football on a Seahawks' player after the play.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong or missed something. :o)

I'm still wondering how our defense makes mediocre teams look like super bowl contenders. They just have their way with us up and down the field. Tarvaris Jackson rarely seemed like he was rattled back there. Lynch was just doing what he does best. Fans and Players alike often wonder why this team gets criticized so much. This is the reason why. Completely Disappointed the way this season is rolling. Our guys are better than this.

David Reeds Fumbles were critical. Ultimately paying dividends to the other team and leaving us playing catch up all day.
Special Teams sho nuff laid an egg today.

in order

David Reed: no more needs to be said

WR's: seriously, i mean come on guys, are you trying to break the record for most drops in a season,

Cam Cameron: i knew it right from the start when he called 2 end arounds in a row, i wanted to throw the remote through the TV, you sir are an absolute pig of a playcaller.

Pagano and the front 7: seriously were we purposely steping backwards everytime lynch touched the ball, and who only sends 4 pass rushes on a QB that is an absolute joke, PRESSURE HIM

Semi agree...our run game has always setup the passing game. I understand we want to become a more passing team than running. But don't forget we have rookie WR along with Boldin, in due time it will work but right now we need our running game to set it up. 5 touches for RR is crazy against a Seahawks team. Reeds fumbles resulted in field goals why did we go so pass happy. Joe was off and RR should have been fed the ball even if it's grinding for a few yards....

Who do we blame this week?

I blame David Reed, Our pass rush, Cam Cameron, Defense and Flacco.

2 fumbles? Really?

We barely sacked them and they have one of the worst o-lines in the league

We totally abondoned the run game

Terrel Suggs, Ngata, and Ed Reed did absoluetly nothing and we let Lynch run all over us

Flacco just kept overthrowing/underthrowing and missing wide open receivers the whole game
Um...Flacco? Really?

Mr. "get me the ball" Boldin had a couple of perfect passes that he couldn't seem to bring down.

The "overthrows" to Torrey that you like to blame on Flacco are on Torrey. The dude does not trust the ball to be there, looks for it too early and slows down considerably when he does. If he would just keep running and look for the ball a few seconds later, he'd keep his speed and the ball would be right there. This is why they always graze off his fingertips.

You can blame our lack of pass rush but it has me wondering if the reported injuries to Suggs and Ngata are worse than let on. The lack of any pressure meant we couldn't play any press coverage either.

Where is the blame for Cundiff? Dude left 6 pts on the field. If he'd made those FGs , we win.

David Reed, well, yeah he pretty much single handedly gave the Seahawks 9 pts.

Now, yes there is an issue with Cam when Rice only gets 5 carries. The run game was going nowhere however, you can't leave your QB out there high and dry with absolutely no run game, not keeping the opposing defense honest in the least. They didn't have to even think about the run game. If the run isn't working, Cam, it is your job to get creative and find ways to make it at least serviceable.

All in all, I think this falls more to coaching than anything. There is no way this team was focused for this game. You could see it from the word go. On all sides of the ball. That lack of any discipline or motivation falls to coaching.

Karma. What comes around goes around. Last week so many people on here were poking fun at the Steelers fans and what they had to say after the game. The Seahawks are doing the same thing with us.

"Ravens boards in FULL meltdown. See enemy forums above..""
http://www.seahawks....php?f=2&t=39060

Though many people had nice things to say about us. But this is exactly why I never poke fun at other teams fans after a loss. Because we look just as bad.

If I was forced to pick one issue I would pick special teams.

On my report card they get an F for todays effort.

Lets review.

2 fumbles
2 missed field goals
1 horrific punt from Kock that gave Seattle the ball on the Raves 39 yard line.

Special teams just stunk up the joint today.

Cams playing calling comes in a close second, but the primary reason they lost today was the awful play of the special teams.

I bet that plane is real real quiet right about now.

I still think there's a difference. A lot of Steelers fans are downright vicious when it comes to the Ravens. I get we're division rivals and all, but some of the vitriol on their boards is outrageous. But I get your point. I myself don't poke fun at other people or other fans ever; we're all fans, we all have a right to support our team. But there are certain insults to that fans type to other fans and opposing players that I have a very hard time tolerating.

David Reed

The defense

Cam Cameron

Flacco

(in that order)

Cundiff needs to be on this list as well...those 6 points he left on the board would have won the game for us.

Well a lot of people on our boards thought it was funny how their fans didn't want to give any respect to us. We aren't giving any respect to the Seahawks. They still made the plays when we didn't. They forced turnovers, kicked FGs, big third down conversions.

I'm just trying to show thats how fans are. Even ours.

Oh no! We are turning into the cowboys of the AFC. Alot of talent all the peices but can't put it together. In all seriousness I am not shocked by the loss today. Ever since the jags game I've tapered my expectations and take it one game at a time.

The negativity, the blame game, the calls for cuts and firings is making me sick as a Ravens fan. I thought this team and these fans had a little more prestige then to whine so much about one loss. We lost the game to an NFC team, we are 6-3, hold the tie breaker over Pitts and still have many games to go. I have faith in this team, these coaches to right the ship and refocus onto Cinci next week. Seattle is a good team, they beat the defending champ Saints last year in the playoffs.

Turnovers, turnovers, turnovers. Look at any stat sheet after a game and the team that had the most generally lost. We turned the ball over and it forced our defense to play more snaps then they should have in the first half, which is why they were gassed in the second half and had no push. We dont turn the ball over right away and let them go up 10 - 0 this game would have had a totally different outcome. Also, I feel I must defend Cameron. When your down by large margins all game I find it hard to justify lining up in I Form and handing it to Rice, you have to throw the ball. and the run game got nothing previously. Flacco made some really good plays and our Tight Ends were absolutely dynamite. Pitta and Dickson will be a dominant duo for years to come.

A bad comedy show. I'm seeing alot of threads about people being singled out and while some people stood out more than others I'd like to point out all of the mistakes I saw which combined to make this game terrible.

1. David Reed 2 fumbles and one dumb penalty which wasn't really one but he should know better. I don't need to spend much time on this.

2. Poor play calling- I actually understand why we abandoned the run. We were bleeding points and running out of time. By the time the offense started making decent progress in the 2nd half we were down 2 scores. My issue is why didn't the short passing game to the backs come into play sooner? If you can't run then use the short passing game to supplement. They didn't figure this out until the touchdown drive in the 4th quarter.

3. Cundiff- 2 more missed field goals, one of which didn't even make the goal post. Isn't he supposed to have the strongest leg in the league?

4. Tackling- missed way to many today. Many times could have gotten off the field with a good tackle but either got shaked or pushed backward.

5. 0 turnovers forced by the defense

6. We made Tarvaris Jackson look like a good QB. When he needed to make throws he did more often then not.

7. That int is at least partially on Joe

8. Joe missed too many throws imho. Torrey had a step at least twice and was missed both times. He also missed a wide open Pitta badly late.

9. Ball drops- I saw a few but that one by Boldin stopped a drive that was moving.

10. Return game, we have 0 chance of scoring on special teams. We don't have a returner that makes anything good happen.

11. We've lost in similar fashion 2 other times and guys still don't get it? The feeling of losing is embarrassing fashion isn't disliked?

12. When are the ravens going to figure out that when you are one of the better teams in the league people are going to give you their best game? Stop playing down to the level of other teams. This is embarrassing. The Steelers and the rest of the playoff contenders are laughing at you and thanking you for keeping them close in the playoff race. If you keep this up you can kiss a home playoff game goodbye.

The Colts still have hope for a win after seeing this game.

After this list we still had a chance to win this game. I find that funny in and off itself. If we cut 2 of these things out we probably win and that just makes me feel sick.

Some good points and I agree with pretty much everything there. On the first 50yd field goal attempt, however, I can't put that on Billy. That's firmly on Harbaugh. You have to know how CenturyLink is. At that time of day, trying to kick a 50yard field goal into the open end is beyond ridiculous. When you look at the field, you see that the flags on the opposite goalpost are dead while the flags on the open end (goal post and stands) are actually blowing in opposite directions depending on left or right side. The wind whips into the stadium, twirls and folds back onto itself and onto the field coming -strong- into the face of the kicker. There was no way he was making that and the Seahawks fans were laughing at us for trying it before they even snapped the ball.

That wind was so strong during the game that it actually caught the "Weiner-dog" race starting line board they had on the field, slammed it on the ground breaking it up and knocking a woman off her feet who was helping to move it.

Yes exactly. Problem is, 2 of them fall directly at the feet of one player and the other one was a result of the first 2 putting us in a desperate to make a play position. Not to even mention that his penalty also put the Seahawks in prime position to begin another drive.
