Blame Game

136 posts in this topic

Who do you BLAME!!!!!!

I blame coaching first how do you abandon the run ? this team has no idenity!!!!! We seem to not be able to learn from our mistakes example Jacksonville !!!! This team is very frustrading to watch and you can predict when they r going to loose. We have Cincy at home next week who barely lost to the steelers we can not continue to play the way we do and think we r going to be around in Jan. We need a new O.C Cam is so predicable and yes Flacco was missing targets but what do u expect when he threw for the whole game!!!!!

Harbs and Cam need to find the door, Billick did for a lot less, after the season we need to go a new direction, this one is not working unless you are ok with just making the playoffs.

Well we barely did anything on offense and the D is always on the field, what do you expect to happen? they're gonna get tired man
you do what you are suppose to do against the 29th ranked offense, you stop them from converting. At one point Lynch had more yardage then the whole Seattle offense.

The way this team plays will drive you to drink! Harbaugh and his special teams stink, even Sam Coch helped in the slaughter with a 28yd punt

Flacco looked like a dead head today...floating passes over heads....he had more time than usual to find an open reciever but could not deliver the ball on target

Bisciotti must be steaming!

Chris Carr sucks. What happened to reed is unreal, 6p points. Lost the game. Carr sucks though. Repeat, Carr sucks. I think the whole team mentality is to blame though. We need to play to destroy.

I'm also blaming Coaches for playing C.Carr so much as he constantly gets beat even on incompletions, while I barely ever see Jimmy Smith whom has been healthy for past 3 games.................

So many to blame. But I'll put it into a list

1. David Reed
2. Cam (abandon the run)
3. Pass rush.
4. Cundiff
5. Flacco & the receivers

The only time I've seen Jimmy is on special teams. I'm wondering what's the point of drafting him if he's not allowed to play over a bum like Carr.
D Reed Cundiff Cam/Harbs Defense (yes, they held them to 5 FGs, but do get some of the blame) Dropped balls by receivers, AGAIN! Flacco with the INT (played well overall, but putting him in here for sake of not looking like a Flacco homer) IN THAT ORDER!
Flacco overthrew, underthrew, put the ball on the ground at the receivers feet, missed wide open receivers, and threw the ball behind his check downs all day. he deserves a huge chunk of the blame

I understand at times the defense was on the field long, but the defense also gave up plenty of 3rd conversions which extended drives.... they ultimately did an okay job by holding to FGs with 3 TOs but with 5 mins left 1st and 20, a Ray Lewis led defense should force a 3 and out.......

You can blame anyone you want to, but when you fumble twice in the other team's territory, you are losing the game for your team. Yes, I am talking to you, David Reed.
Yup, that's where I'm hanging my hatred this week. I don't give a care what you do, but when ONE guy fumbles the ball and costs us major field position multiple times, he's the guy I'm putting in the woodshed to repeatedly get beaten with wooden sticks.

Yeah, not at all. All QB's miss throws. He still completed 60% of them, BUT was asked to throw it 52 times? Really? Reed, really? Cundiff.....there isnt a lot of blame left over after these guys get their fair share. You're wrong, sorry!

He also put it right into their hands several times and they dropped it so it's a moot point

Can we catch the ball?
RIGHT !!!!!!

Yes Flacco had some real bad passes but I saw more than a few from at least three recievers that were in the hands and on the field.

You cant blame all those on Flacco. Some catches you have got to work for, some land right in your hands. I saw both on the turf today.

That's what I'm thinking because Seattle made adjustments by going 3 WR sets and putting their targeted player in the slot on Carr often.... Rice, Tate, Baldwin, Miller all had their shots at him....

While they made adjustments such as that, Ravens offense rarely motioned Boldin or lined him up inside to get a mismatch ( which is crazy to even say considering I have watched every WR that lined up against Seattle CBs have a mismatch all season ) yes I have watched I have directv its not just a saying.....

We are becoming the most frustrating, laughable, team in the league. Beat Pittsburgh (2) and Houston and cannot back that up with a decent offensive game plan each time. Run the ball.......and run Cam Cameron right out of town!

It's always funny how often he misses those wide open bombs to T.Smith..... then right on cue the commentators say Flacco has one of the best deep balls in the game surprise he overthrew such a speedy WR

I'm not blaming Flacco for this loss. He did what he had to do. No need to get all sensitive about it

Okay I will say it.
Every one says Cam
I will add Pagano.

This D is not what we have come to expect by any means.

Luckily there is still the Redskins/Colts/KC reserving that title. I'm sure a ton of teams around the league wish they had our record.

Woah there. The D has been good all season, today was the first sign of troubles on the defense. We held them to five field goals, a couple of which were handed to them by David Reed. The defense allowed some yards, but only one touchdown. They were solid.

It's really sad that every time this team gets some respect and people begin to label them as favorites they go out and play like this....... To a mediocre team knowing that we laid stinkers before against these type of teams......

Beating Pittsburgh can't be that satisfying..... and now it means nothing..... smh
I don't see it as meaning "nothing". I just see it as meaning quite as much.
