Blame Game

136 posts in this topic

Who do we blame this week?

I blame David Reed, Our pass rush, Cam Cameron, Defense and Flacco.

2 fumbles? Really?

We barely sacked them and they have one of the worst o-lines in the league

We totally abondoned the run game

Terrel Suggs, Ngata, and Ed Reed did absoluetly nothing and we let Lynch run all over us

Flacco just kept overthrowing/underthrowing and missing wide open receivers the whole game

EDIT: Billy Cundiff misses 2 FGs that would've won us the game. Happened im Jax to.

I don't care who. Someone needs to be made an example of. This team is so hard to watch this season. I seriously hope the media quits talking about Super Bowl possibilities for this team.

What a pathetic loss and this season is becoming unbearable to watch almost.

Those wins over Pittsburgh mean absolutely NOTHING.

David Reed - He should be cut immediately.

Suggs - WHERE ARE YOU?

Tackling - This is supposed to be our strong point. Ha.

Offense - Typical Ravens offense. Flacco looked bad. Continually overthrowing Torrey. Underthrew a lot of balls. Run blocking was terrible.

Defense at the end - We just needed one stop at the end, and we let the Seahawks run all over us.

I've never been as mad at a Raven in my life as I am at David Reed. I put the loss entirely on his shoulders. He should be cut immediately. No, not talked to, not given a second chance, not worked with on Wednesday. CUT. He contributes nothing to this team as it is and we have a surplus of WRs anyways. Give Doss his chance now. That was the most unprofessional display by a Baltimore Raven I can EVER recall seeing. We have NO room for that on this team.

i am NOT blaming anyone for a Ravens loss on these boards from here on out! because with this team....IT IS WHAT IT IS!!
they have proven time and time again that they are very unpredictable from week to week, inconsistent and mediocre at best. i blame no one cause IT IS WHAT IT IS!!

I wish we could have seen a 3 & out on that last drive. We had the chance when Lynch caught that pass with 5 yards to go and shook a tackle. For some reason, I really think we could've won that game given the offense got the ball back. The Seahawks' defense was starting to implode. I see some form tackling drills in the defense's very near future. Oh yeah, and David Reed needs to put two hands on the ball in traffic.

You can blame anyone you want to, but when you fumble twice in the other team's territory, you are losing the game for your team. Yes, I am talking to you, David Reed.

I know we all drink the purple koolaid but.. honestly, given the Jags and Titans game, is this really that surprising? Maybe someday we'll have a clutch QB for more than 5% of our drives. Maybe someday we'll actually have a playbook and the personnel that puts points on the board consistently. Maybe someday we'll have special teams we can actually be excited about. Until then, roll the dice every week.

just my disgruntled 2 cents

It's really sad that every time this team gets some respect and people begin to label them as favorites they go out and play like this....... To a mediocre team knowing that we laid stinkers before against these type of teams......

Beating Pittsburgh can't be that satisfying..... and now it means nothing..... smh

We are losing 19-7 at halftime. We come back second half...with the ball. Why do we completely abandon the run?

Our running back is not a no name. Its Ray Friggin Rice. Why can't we just hand him off the ball and let him run down the field? Every time he touches the ball he gets a good 5-10 yards. Pile drive the ball, feed him, let him run. 3 downs of Rice is better than 3 downs of Flacco when the passing game is clearly not working.

We lost because we were 1 dimensional. Our defense was worn out -- they played a good game.

We will never win if we abandon the run, or if we abandon the pass..

...or if we turn over the ball and make mistakes like imbeciles.

That was a disgusting move made by Lynch on Ray and JJ, they deserve alll the blame on that one. If you are a HOF linebacker you are expected to make that play.

In terms of the blame, of course David Reed gets a large portion but as I've said on every other thread, COACHING!

You forgot Cundiff huh, 2 missed field goals. You cannot blame just certain players, noone had a great or even a good game. The only thing i can say is that a Superbowl contender have consistent play one at least one side of the ball, we do not as of this week. They find ways to win on the road which we do not. In short, please do not say Superbowl and Ravens anymore this year.

that certainly did not help, but Seattle was moving the ball up and down the field all night too. Our defense could not get off the field and played poorly IMO. At least Webb looked good

The whole team.

What a pathetic season.

Season? What the hell are you talking about? 6-3 is pathetic? Sweeping the Steelers is pathetic? If you want to say this game was pathetic, I have no problem because it was truly pathetic. Same with the other two losses. And I agree that the whole team is to blame. Completely agree....

But we're very much alive still.

Moral of our season so far is, we play crappy teams we play crappy, we play good teams and we play good. I can't blame any single player, even though Reed could take all the blame, but it's a team effort and the defense could only do so much. I mean it could of been ten times worse with those turnovers, and they only held them to field goals. Yeah they let Lynch run wild as well.

They better get their acts together come next week, or it's going to be a lonnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnng day AGAIN!!

The SeaHawks came ready to play... simple as that. Our team, mentally isn't prepared to be elite. We can't handle teams giving us their best shot week in and week out. Though i'm very confident that if those fumbles didn't happen we would have been ok.

The defense didnt look good, but the Seahawks were in excellent position off of the Reed fumbles to put points on the board, and they did with the field goals.

You can't even make that excuse. BR.com made so many blogs about ignoring w/l record, giving it your best, ect.

sick of the blame game. everyone needs to step up every week, not just the "tough teams." its the NFL, anyone can win any week. We just haven't played near our potential every game like we should.

Let's face it, even though the Offense wasn't so great, they had the momentum for the comeback victory.
The defense was surprisingly not clutch and blew our last chance to win.
