Just Heard What Rex Just Said And .....

27 posts in this topic

This may or may not be in the right section,

Just heard Rex try and compare the Jets /Patriots rivalry to Our RAVENS/STEELERS rivalry, sorry Rex , not even close. Go and try and pump up and make your team look like gods some other way. Everyone know's who has thee best and greatest Rivalry in the NFL or dare i say in all of Sports. <i'll take the latter.
Even people in the U.K know about the RAVENS/STEELERS rivalry.

I think that's the only thing Steeler fans and Ravens fans can agree on. (tid bit-anyone notice how i actually spelled Steelers in this Thread, i did just to show a little respect for this one thing) don't worry, probably wont happen again.

What do you guys think, do we have the best Rivalry in just the N.F.L or All of Sports???

Ravens-Steelers is the current best rivalry in the NFL.

Don't you know by now that every single time Rex Ryan opens his mouth he's either putting a foot in it or eating [s]crow[/s] er, Raven?

Def in all of sports cuz there is no other sport really cleared for 100% contact except ufc n boxing n I can't think of none in those respective sports n every play some one tries hurting some one n it's always big hits n nailbiting games then the fans can't stand either team or each other...mainly just the physical nature takes it in all of sports n btw IMO it's not a sport unless it's contact like NFL ufc boxing ect. ....MLB NBA ect. Gets no love or respect from ME cuz there sissyfied sports JUST ME tho!! NHL is an exception because of hard hits but I still don't like it

And why do we still care what comes out of Rex Ryan's mouth?
because we still love rex!!! he is an awesome coach. and a lot of people on this board thought he should have been our HC instead of Harbs...

You don't speak for me. I certainly stopped loving him the first time he spouted off his mouth.

And I'm VERY GLAD he's NOT our HC.

No way would I want this guy to be head coach of the Ravens. The only similarities between him and Harbaugh is they have coaching in their bloodlines. Biscotti and the Ravens staff made the right call when Billick was let go and Harbaugh was brought in.

Rex sucks! Talks too much and is annoying as hell. If that's what you meant, I agree!

Their Rivalry is up there. It's definitely a game im gonna wanna watch twice a year. They are 52-52-1 in their meetings and their rivalry is obviously much longer than Ravens/Steelers.

I would give it top 3 rivalry status behind us and Packers/Bears.

Now wait a second, he was just comparing the meaning of the game between the 2 teams. The rivalry is one of the best and has a long history as one. To a Ravens or Steelers' fan, yes that match is tops and to a Jets or Patriots' fan that match up is tops. Basically knowone is wrong.

Except that to the rest of the NFL world, majority pick Ravens/Steelers over Jets/Pats every time!

Honestly, I think it's just a ploy to get his team pumped for the game. Sure it's a rivalry, but it pales in comparison to Ravens/Steelers

Certainly does and in that regard, Jets still suck! Not sure how that is relevant, just wanted to say it again since I loathe Rex and Sanchez soooo much!

..yeah, I cant stand Rex anymore, God..how horrible would it be if Rex was the head coach of the Ravens guaranteeing SuperBowl every year in this town? We would be the laughing stock of the league

Buddy Ryan, great defensive coordinator horrible head coach
Rex Ryan, great defensive coordinator horrible head coach that inherited a team built by Eric Mangini, now its showing from the moves hes making
Rob Ryan, stinking it up as a DC in Dallas

Now....

Jim Harbaugh, great QB, great college head coach, turning the 49ers around
John Harbaugh, deep playoff runs each season as Ravens HC
Jack Harbaugh, great legacy of coaching

I think we chose the correct gene pool

Mind you, he's one of the most overrated coaches in the league. Imagine rallying behind a person who see's every matchup after a lose as a "revenge game".

NFL Sunday Countdown aired a nice little piece on the Harbaughs a few minutes ago. :D

The Jets/Pats rivalry isn't even for 1st place. Enter the Bills.

There's also a decent probability neither of these teams make the playoffs (2 wildcards to the AFCN).
