We Are The #1 Defense

After Monday Night football, we still hold the #1 defense title, allowing 186.7 YPG. Offense we are #25, 291.3 YPG.

I am actually surprised that we are #31 in Passing Yards per game. I thought we'd be higher than that. I know Flacco has yet to throw over 200 yards a game.

I wanted to start a topic about that either .

You are right, our defense is clicking right now, but the Titans defens is too:

I normally don't care about stats but:
TEN defense:

Total yards: 263.5 (5th)
Rush yards: 86.8 (8th)
Pass yards: 176.8 (8th)

-Most INTs in the NFL with 8 (tied with GB and TB - watch out of Finnegan and Harper)
-Most recovered Fumbles in NFL with 10
-Fewest points per game allowed with 11.5
-2nd in sacks with a total of 15.

Also again a GREAT defense.... so a great defensive battle again. They force many turnovers, we like to fumble the ball.
Playmakers in: Finnegan, Harper, Kearse, Haynesworth, Vanden Bosch, Bulluck, Hayes.
Probably the most aggressive and dangerous defensive line in the league.

So: Very dangerous!! I rate them with a A-




I think the offense looks like ours does.

QB issues. Few passing yards. Many rushing yards with 1-2-punch RBs (White and Johnson).


But: I think they did not play against a great team yet, except against The Jags, where they have won closely by 7.

Great Matchup by similar teams. Great (historical) rivalry.

It will be as close as against the steelers, will be a great game again!!

We are actually 1st in PPG with our D out there.

Our offense has allowed 14 points.

Take our total: 43 minus 14 = 29 divide by 3

Our D has allowed: 9.7 PPG.

I expect that from the D, don't you? I knew last year was just a case of the "f*#% its"

But damn man, I am shocked that we're #31 passing, I really did think we were doing better than that.
