No Huddle: Still No Respect

Well to be the man you have to beat the man, and if the AFCN title was the SB then we are set , but it is a long road to go and we honestly have not won a damn thing yet, stop feelin so sorry for ourselves, where did this sense of entitlement com from all of the sudden.

I remember this team and its fan base was always discredited it and we bore it stoically and came out and made people suffer. Now we just want to whine about wheres ours, who cares what others think, I for one think the steelers victory was enough I don't need some air-headed dough boy schmuck to validate that win for me. Just be glad we beat them since win did so many people need a pat on the back.

I agree with you if the Ravens win the division and win in the playoffs this year and get to the Super Bowl they will get the respect they deserve...The win on Sunday against the Steelers was huge and probably the biggest win in the Harbaugh Flacco era but with all that being said it still didnt win the Ravens the Lombardi Trophy or for that matter guarantee them they are going to win the AFC North this season...

Amen, brother. We want respect, then let's go out and beat the crap out of guys until eventually, someone, somewhere says, "You know what? I think I had a little change of heart about Joe Flacco, 'round about when he hoisted that Lombardi Trophy."

Baltimore fans are NOT whiners, and, frankly, we ought to care little and less about what anybody outside this organization has to say. We know how good our boys are. That's all that matters.

Thats slowly changing. I mean dont get me wrong if you want to complain about personal performance or coaching or jersey's or whatever than fine that is your inherent right as a fan.

Now when you start stomping your high heels on the ground yelling" I want mine, what about me, when do I get mine" it makes my stomach hurt to look at people whine. Go out there and take it. When you win the Big One, It cant be argued on that night you were the best team in the world and that is what matters.

I freaking hate, i mean Hate Jamie Dukes, he has no respect what so ever. Thats ok, Warren Sapp hates the Stealers. And honestly, who cares about Jamie Dukes.
I feel even if Flacco single handedly won the superbowl, they would still try and find excuses. Let face it , he will not get any love. I know Phil Simms likes Flacco which is a plus because even before i found that out, i still liked Phils opinion.

Like I said, when talking about analysts and Flacco, I've noticed that people who knock Flacco are defensive guys/o-linemen and non-players (i.e. Skip Bayless, Jemele Hill, Warren Sapp, Jamie Dukes). When quarterbacks and offensive coordinators discuss Flacco, they all have good things to say about him. Cam loves him, and hate him or not Cam does know a lot about offense and quarterbacks. So do Al Saunders and Jim Zorn. Phil Simms loves him. Steve Young and Trent Dilfer have said good things about him, and John Clayton keeps calling him elite (though John's list of elite quarterbacks is pretty long). And if you look at the stats of guys like Brady and Roethlisberger early on in their careers, they weren't putting up huge numbers by any means. They were just asked to do enough to win, which is what Joe is being asked to do. And he does it very well.
