Here is an article on steelers.com it talks about how Ben Rothlisberger went into the locker room and got his team fired up at halftime. And how he decided to go with the no huddle offense. And boy how that changed the game! Actually a lot of the talking heads talked about Ben's decision to go into the no-huddle offense this week. And how this decision won them the game against us.

I ask are they serious? We beat ourselves. What happened after halftime is: we had our worst punt of the game, a 15 yard foul was committed by Johnson, then we let them run the ball twice for 4 yards, then they get one decent pass completion for a TD (one which was a couple inches of being intercepted). The no huddle offense didn't affect us one bit. We beat ourselves. I saw a lucky drive, and a fumble by Flacco recovered for a TD.

I do not know what adjustment won them the game? I didn't see much from Ben Rothlisberger to impress me one bit in the second half. Not only that, but the completions that he did make, our guys were slipping and sliding all over the place.

Obviously Ben's talk with them and the change to a no huddle play gave them the momentum they needed to get back in the game. I don't believe it won them the game but I do believe they made corrections on what they were doing that definately benefited them. I don't like it that they won and hate trash talking fans but they did what they had to do and it was a close game.

We played a good game considering everything overall. Could have used LESS penalties but the Ravens played hard.

Had everything been flipped you would say the same thing she said..."all i care about is that we won". How many times has one of us used that when other teams talk about our offense even tho we still won a game....

put it this way........ if we would have challenged that Derrick Mason catch in the Endzone, this game would have been won by the Ravens hands down because we would have been up by 4 points thus when we scored that final touchdown, after the steelers scored their last TD, we still would have been ahead by 4 points thus would have resulted in no over-time and we would have won the game, its that simple. To say that the Steelers were great the entire game or dominated that game from start to finish is completely and utterly irrational, Ben was sacked 3 times, intercepted by a lineman and knocked down numerous times, our defense aw able to apply the necessary amount of pressure to force him to move, force him to try and make plays outside the pocket......as a result, we all saw the over throws, under throws and incompletions, we ALL saw how ben was becoming highly fustrated with everything, which means our pressure and our defense was getting to him and getting into his head. Reed and our secondary were the one's that (at least to me) seemed rather quiet just because of the fact that always...at some point in the game(s) (based off of past experiences) Reed or someone in our secondary, comes up with a big play (interception, stripped ball exc...) i saw none of that, so thats another reason (a rather small reson yes but still a reason). Normally our defense is able to force turnovers more often which ultimately spells out Victory for us but there really wasnt any...so a key ingrediant heading into this weekend's match-up with the Titans.....our defense needs to step it up a notch and force the offense into those turnover prone situations, plain and simple. IF we can do that, it basically means that our offense will have a shorter field to work with, meaning having less distance to travel for points, coupled with our offenses regular offensive possessions.....thats what we need to do.

By adjustment they meant: they yelled out each other, followed by a cry, followed by a hug, probably said a prayer to God asking for mercy, then someone brought out 53 lucky horseshoes that everyone kissed, then they probably huddled up and danced around a leprechaun while chewing on rabbits feet chanting "we are the Titans...the mighty mighty titans" afterwards coach tomlin mentions something about playing faster with more intensity..blah blah which they all misunderstood as "hurry up offense". They had another group hug that lasted way to long followed by a 1,2,3 lets go! and then they probably started slapping each other on the butt 1 to many times and 1 second too long. Big ben smiled at hine wards and hine wards winked back at him and then the 3rd quarter begun.

Pretty sure that's what they were referring to when they said "adjustments".

That was very elaborate! Pretty funny. That adjustment obviously worked!

They didn't win anything. We did, we just gave it to them. I like to think of it as a "headstart" so there is at least some kind of competition in this division. It was a "Here, you are going to need this. That way, when we destroy you in December, you guys won't all be full of a sense of worthlessness and go drink funny Cool Aid." That's how it went down :D

I am not surprised that the talking heads are saying that because in the past our defense has struggled against the no huddle. The drive that sticks out the most is last year against the Cardinals. The put Kurt Warner in and he moved the ball pretty effectively against us using the no huddle. Its also a big reason why the Bengals used to have so much success against us.
