It can't get no better then this after we swept the steelers now everyone is getting health. We really are one of the most dangerous teams if not thee dangerous team in the NFL when health. We really have a shot at greatness this year.

Well, turns out Harbs isn't as optimistic:

John harbaugh said lee evans has an 'outside chance' of playing this week said reed and suggs were rested more than anything else

Maybe they give him that extra week of rest and save him for the Bengals game. That will be another big game for us and we will need him. He practiced all week so he is definitely ready to play. Atleast the Bengals won't have no game tape on him.

I have a feeling that Harbs is just keeping it a mystery so Seattle is left to guess whether or not he'll be out there... I think he'll play 15-20 snaps.

He might not go Sunday, we'll bring him out for the Bengals, but he HAS to practice this week so he can shake some of that rust.

If Evans is back at full speed, I just pray we don't see him running end arounds.
Adding him to what we already have with Q,Rice,Smith,Dickson/Pitta could be extremely hard to match up with.

I'd still prefer him to wait a week and show up vs. Cincy so they won't have any film in order to prepare for him.

Doesn't sound like he will play this week.

I think the Ravens have to consider in the next couple of weeks on whether to put Evans on IR.

If he's not ready for the 49ers game, that could be it for him.

Wait him finally getting healthy and then putting him on IR that does not make much sense

Harbaugh has said multiple times this isn't happening. He'll be ready for Cincy, I have no doubt. I think if the Seattle game was more important he might be playing.

I hope your right. I really think Evans is the missing link to a very successful offense. Torrey,Boldin and Evans! Wow.

I dont think hes ever gonna be completely healthy this year, yet hes not playing. Is two more weeks gonna make that big of a difference with him? I have my doubts .

I don't think that we will have a problem beating the Seagulls if they play like they have all year. Unfortunately, I felt the same way about the Titans and Jaguars. We are ready for them and will not be having another letdown this time. Still, I have changed my mind about the game being a blowout. We may only win by 7 points or less. I don't see us tearing it up on a road game after a big win. Go Ravens! Win and keep everyone healthy.

IR'ing Evans because he isn't healthy enough to go over the next few weeks or so doesn't make sense. It looks like he's making contributions on the sidelines helping the young recievers and that's a good thing. If Evans is healthy enough to go come December it will be a nice shot in the arm. Evans and Joe showed promise in the limited action in preseason.

Yeah but where do you draw the line and say it's been long enough that he can't play ? I wanna see him out there bad . If they think
He will be ready by playoff time and isn't , what are you gonna think then ? A whole year where a Tandon Doss gets no reps is what
Im gonna think .

The only reason we would ir him anyway is if we needed to use the roster spot. No need to ir someone if there is no need to fill the spot especially in the situation of the "unknown"

Heck Jimmy I'm with you... but as others have said keeping the status quo isn't hurting the team as it is now. Using IR is a guarantee he doesn't play this season. I hope not but I really believe he's going to need some type of surgical procedure this offseason though.

I hope we all learnt our lesson today, everyone assuming a victory over Seattle and saying we won't need Evans for this one. Never take a game for granted.

We were not ready for them and once again ruined a victory by losing to a lousy team. I felt all along that we might lose this one but I didn't want to put it out there in the posts. Oh well, stick a fork in Evans because he is washed up and Reed needs to be benched until he learns how to hold on to the ball. We need to let Doss have a shot. What else can go wrong? Lose to the Colts and Browns?

Rest him until the postseason, that's where we're going to really need him.
You can't be serious? First of all, I believe we will make it to the postseason but it isn't a given.... If he never plays another down in the regular season, how will he fit into the WR rotation? How Joe be able to judge or trust his route running... Games speed up a little bit more in post-season, if he never gets his reps in Regular season then he is likely to run incorrect routes, or cut routes short which would lead to pick 6s the other way.....

If we are going to be throwing 40-50 times a game like the last 3 games (51, 47, 52) then at least 6 of those balls could be attempts towards Evans to finish up this season.... Otherwise he is just a Stallworth addition....

Lee Evans is not a proven WR like Andre Johnson... If the Texans kept winning and chose to sit Johnson until playoffs then it wouldn't be an issue at all because hamstrings need as much rest as possible and johnson has been with the team in the offense for years and he can win a One-on-One against most CBs in league even beat double teams.....
