Well apparently ESPN does not think so....all the big plays were in the Pats/Giants game.
Well that's not fair now. They liked Big Ben's TD pass too lol

All i know is ESPN showed highlights of Pats/Giants and Jets/Bills first then squeezed in everything else afterwards.

They can say and do all they want, but it won't change what the Ravens did Sunday night!! , Sunday night, Joe Flecco became the Quarter Back everyone knew he could be!!.

Joe played the game we needed him to play. Wasn't elite but wasn't game managing either. After going 21-34 for 208 (6 yards an attempt) yards in the game, he came up big going 7/13 for 92 yards in the 2 minute drill. Our running game disappeared in that game. How Rice had a 100 yard game week 1 and as a team we couldn't even muster more than 2.5 yards a carry shows that they got better at defending the run and we got worse at running the ball.

But it would all be different if the refs put the whistle down when Torrey was BLOCKING his man

Yup, Rice would have had 130+ yards. He was close to breaking one on multiple occasions... just didn't happen. Ricky was running very well, too.

Which I cant understand. Eli drove down the field against the worst pass defense, Joe did it against the best pass defense, yet Eli is getting all of the hype...

I really don't think ESPN hates us, the NY and Boston markets are just huge. The Steelers also have a big fan-base. So it makes sense for them to replay the Pats/Giants and Jets/Bills and focus in on the Steelers upcoming match-up with Cincinnati. All the Steelers fans would turn off their TVs if they had to watch replay after replay of losing to Flacco on that final drive.

Joe went into the Lions Den and DELIVERD what made it even more sweet is that he did it under BRIGHT lights with the whol nation watching. He did what Tom Terrific the " Golden Boy" Brady couldn't do. The Steelers made Brady look mediocore at BEST. Joe went into the Steelers house snatch the remote and put his feet up on thier table and dared them to say something... He will never get credit from the media but I don't care..

I was giving it everything I could to stay positive. After all the bad calls, bad decisions, and drops that had plagued us before it was hard to keep the faith.

Then Joe Cool delivered us!!

last year I thought nothing could top the Housh TD. Now this happens- GO RAVENS!!

I was pretty down at that point. Of course, I had some hope, but I was mentally preparing myself for the loss when that drive started. When Flacco started moving the ball, I got my hopes up a little more, but then the drops started and it looked like it was going to be close but no cigar once again. I screamed like a maniac when Torrey caught that game winner, then started cussing like a sailor when I saw that there was a flag down, thinking we were about to get another BS holding call or something, then immediately got overjoyed again when I heard Al Michaels say it was defensive interference. That drive was an emotional roller coaster.

Just an amazing drive. The first one to Q and the deep one to Torrey were probably Joe's best throws of the night.
The first to Q for 20 yards or so is what set this whole drive up. I am just a fan and it gave me a huge sense of relief just to get off our own 8 yard line. And then it was just completion after completion until, BAM!!!

that throw to torrey that wasn't caught was so great because joe scrambled a little bit out to the right and was already hit by the time he threw it. just amazing....

Don't know who it was who dropped that interception, but I promise you he's still kicking himself today.

I felt the same way after seeing that flag come out and I was still pretty mad for the BS holding call on Torrey from the beginning of the game that could have changed the whole magnitude of the game from the beiginning. I was thinking that the refs are fixing to screw us again but when I started to hear Al say it was defensive PI I start to feel a little relief but wasn't completely sold with me thinking that might try to call offensive PI.

Collinsworth mentioned something about both teams hoping that the ref stay out the game as much as possible, that would benefit us the most IMO b/c if you go back through the archives of these two teams playing, we have always gotten the short end of the stick vs them. The McGahee run and Webb punt return in the same game was some killers and like John Madden says, someone is holding almost every play but we neva get holding calls vs the Steelers.
