an excerpt

"Against 28 or 29 quarterbacks, that would have been the winning option. But Flacco's not normal, man. He was dreadful most of the game on first and second downs, when the pressure's low. But on third down, with no margin for error? He was incredible on third down, leading the Ravens to a 14-of-21 conversation rate. That touchdown pass to Smith? That was third down. And it was to Torrey Smith, the most buttery of the Ravens' butterfingers. Flacco's cool like that. He's cold.

"It's not my job to get down on Torrey," Flacco said."

...the article is humorous at times, he tells the truth at times...and its just good fun to see your guy get some praise

He still has a lot of work in his game that needs to be adjusted but he won us that game (even though if the refs didn't flag torrey for the holding call it would of been a different game..... ). Great game! Big Ben is one of the best Qbs in the league and hopefully someday Joe will be at his level

That is one thing about Joe. He is very confident, he bounces right back and always supports every player on the team. That is what a good leader does.

The one thing that Joe has always, always had is that coolness under pressure. And that's something you just can't teach - that's why he's our guy.

I watched the game and Joe played like a man on a mission. He was determined to not allow the crowd to get to him. Nice article they say he was emotionless in his approach. They say he has ice in his vienes well i say nick name him ICEMAN, or like those machines that just keep coming never stopping "The Terminator". If Ray Lewis is the emotional soul of this team from the defense, then Joe Flacco is the fearless, emotionaless, Terminator of the offense who fears none in the league. He will just keep coming at you till he scores. he knows his defense has his back and now I believe the defense knows the offense has their back!! Lets keep this up and not faulter next week. Coach Harbough is the never relenting coach who will not let up until time is out in a game. Got to Believe. I do.

For years I had to watch bad QB play and hear things like the QB cant get too high or get too low, he has to be calm in the pocket, etc. From day 1 Joe Flacco has been all those things, his rookie year he is thrust into starting way before anyone thought he would, I'm sure many people like myself considered it a rebuilding year anyway but with a rookie? We would surely have a tough time of it, well Joe shocked the hell out of me that year....and he's gotten better every year, this year he's struggled along with a growing offense, young guys trying to make that next step to the Pro game, a OL that has never played together...that lost a key member in Grubbs...Joe is just the man for the job, isnt that the quote?

I don't understand why this is so hard for Cameron to understand. The reason that Flacco was so good on 3rd down is that he was in SHOTGUN. When he's in shotgun, he looks like an elite QB. When he's under center, he looks slower because he's tall and long. I'm not saying he should never be under center, but we need to mix in the shotgun much more frequently, not just wait for 3rd and 7. We can always run it out of shotgun as well.
