Joe Flacco Our Franchise Quarterback

300 posts in this topic

What a game!! Torrey had a drop but made a game winning catch made by Joe Flacco in the 2 minute drill wher we seen alot of shotgun offense. I love how our offense won this game to put all the Torrey and Flacco haters to rest. What was your favorite drive?

You know what too guys....I'm on board with the Cam Must Go thing. I mean, Joe had this stuff down and either it was recievers dropping it OR it was really dumb play calls such as: a screen pass to Torrey TWICE without any blockers in front of him. What the heck was that?! Or how about the run, run, pass in the first half and later on in the third? How about not just running it on first and goal and trying a dumb roll-out?! I'm on board, Cam haters.

Torrey Smith is amazing. Way to come through after a bad drop. Flacco was brilliant tonight as well. Can't take anything away from either of them, and if you do, don't even bother.

Pathetic is all I have to say! You think you can just jump sides from being one of the worst nay sayers this board has ever seen? Ha, whatever!

Can't be said enough of how good it is for Torrey to have Joe keep giving him shots after bad plays. But, realistically, this fanbase is week to week. If Joe has a bad week next week, the wagon will roll back in here. I've stayed behind Joe, and will always stay behind Torrey no matter what.

it really is pretty disgusting how a lot of "fans" sway the ship that is Joe Flacco. A lot of us Ravens fans have always had faith in Joe, realizing he is only 26 years old and has accomplished more than most quarterbacks in his first few seasons. Others have thrown him under the bus comparing him to people like Alex Smith and so on. 9 game winning Drives baby. Most amazing Feeling after a win that I have ever experienced!

This 100000 times over....sad, really

Man what a great win for this team and especially Flacco and Torrey. Quieted all the doubters and showed TREMENDOUS poise in the toughest environment (other than M&T) in the league. That's our guy. Even with 92 yards and 2 mins left and the crowd roaring, he stayed focused and got it done. What an awesome win

yessir, if we lost Joe would have never heard the end of that fumble..but we will never hear about Ben's INT

..but look back to week 1 when we got pressure Ben fumbled multiple times, threw INTs, etc.....when Joe gets hit sometimes bad things happen, its all around the league not just him

People who were piling on Torrey earlier on need to calm down, this is a rookie playing in the greatest rivalry in the NFL and playing at Heinz! Once he got those butterflies out his stomach and got more comfortable, we saw what he can do and the impact he can make on this team for years to come. Gotta love it

I thought week 1 was a great starting point for the rest of Joes career....after some duds I was down on him

But once again after a great game against our rival...ill say it again...

JOE please use this game as the foundation for the rest of your career...you just looked awesome AGAIN against one of the best defenses in the league...use this confidence and game to BUILD..

I was about to ask where you were....lol. Hey, we've known it all along. He's the man. About time you and others realize. Welcome aboard.

I will say it again: I wasn't 100 percent sold, maybe not even 50 percent sold, on Torrey Smith in the draft, mostly because of our past experiences drafting receivers and Heyward-Bey - unfair I know, but I really had my doubts. But this kid is the real deal. He brings it every day, and each week I see his chemistry with Flacco and is comfort with the offense grow. I really am starting to feel like we got an absolute steal in the second round. If Doss and David Reed can start getting worked in, I really wouldn't want to be the team facing us.

yep definitely. its like he's trying to run out the clock in the fourth quarter. when joe is killing them out of the gun. thought the playcalling was terrible. just got way too conservative

It's been a long time coming, but our little boy from Delaware has grown up into a monster quarterback. He needs to be more consistent to be considered elite, but I doubt he will have many more dud games this year. He's taken a crucial step in his development. Flacco, well done.

Flacco and Smith have been the most bashed guys on this thread since preseason. I love how they both come together to beat the team we have all hated for SOOOOO long. Where is that Tyrod thread again?

We can't have another let-down in a tough environment next week. Let's do this, boys and girls. We control our own destiny and I wouldn't want it any other way.
