I Wonder What Skip Bayless Will Have To Say About Flacco Now?

He'll probably mention it and change the subject. What I want to know is what the next excuse for the Steelers will be. Probably "Joe never beat them in the playoffs".
that is the excuse now bruh!

Joe just keeps knock down all of their bogus excuses they give when the Ravens beat them. from:

1. Flacco never beat the steelers with Ben playing....check

2. Flacco never beat the steelers with Ben playing in pittsburg....check

3. Flacco never sweep the steelers......check

what's left? ohhhh....Until Flacco beats the steelers "when it counts" (playoffs) it means nothing!

excuses, excuses, excuses.

He may have swept the Steelers. He may have outperformed Roethlisberger both times. BUT... can he do it... with his eyes closed? Until then, Joe will never be an elite quarterback.

The (not-so) crazy thing? Suggs and Ray Lewis were both calm and composed on the sideline during that final drive, showing that they genuinely believe in Flacco.

Suggs wasn't lying. He wasn't trying to be a great actor. He really believes. Otherwise, he would've had his head buried under a towel, afraid to look. We've seen him and other defenders do that before when a game's come down to the offense.

Yeah, I noticed that, too! Also, when we scored, Ray just did a quick little brief smile. Nothing over the top, like he knew we were about to witness Joey grow right before our eyes! :)

Hey I noticed the same thing! The camera went on Suggsy a lot during that final drive and he just had this look on his face like, 'Yup, another day for my offense,' and that was about it.

I couldn't help but chuckle at the shots of Benny Boy wearing a towel like a wedding veil. Must have felt great watching Joe show him up at his house after all the press that he's the best QB in the AFC...

Can he do it by himself with no o-line?I think not. He's definitely not elite!

I look forward to hearing the debate tommorrow I am sure he will make excuses and back out of what he said last week
He'll probably say "the Ravens played their Super Bowl... AGAIN. But let's wait to see what they do next week, if they have another let-down or if they've finally gained some consistency."

He wont eat his words until Flacco single handedly won the superbowl.

It would have to be Joe Flacco a man alone vs 11 defenders. :P

And you're on the money. Exactly what he was basically saying today. "Great win but I still don't buy Flacco in the postseason."

Hilarious stuff. I'm pretty sure he tweeted about there being "a new sheriff in AFC town" and that "Flacco really showed him something" on the last drive. Honestly I can't decide if he has Alzheimer's or if he tries to sell the exact opposite argument of what he really believes. Who cares, anyway? He's great entertainment, and that's what he's paid to do. I'll say this again: a lot of Superbowl-winning quarterbacks have had good things to say about Joe, and Phil Simms said "he's one notch below elite". Peter King also likes Flacco, and I trust his opinion a lot more than many other sportswriters. What I'm concerned about is the "fans'" reaction to Flacco, and how after every single game in which he doesn't do something amazing people are calling for Tyrod Taylor to start in his place.

Bayless is a professional troll, will fight common sense just so people will talk about him.
I couldn't have said it better... I couldn't care less what he thinks. He has zero credibility.

I'm still trying to figure out what play Skip wanted his boyfriend Ryan Clark to make on that one. The ball was placed in a spot where only Torrey could get to it, Joe threw it over everyone except Torrey. The disrespect they're still giving Joe is ridiculous. QBs go through a growing process, and denying that last night was a huge step forward for Flacco is ridiculous.

Skip disappointed me, he usually mans up and admits his mistakes but today he was disgusting, he was still hating in full force, still proclaiming his love for the Steelers, his hate for Joe....usually he gets my respect for admitting when he's wrong but he is wrong here and his pride is hurting him...he just looks bitter and mad and doesnt want his opinion to be wrong

....but he LOVES Tim Tebow and tells the world everyday, thats no lie, EVERYDAY how he can win and take the Broncos to the playoffs, SB, world domination

whatever skip

I've been saying it for some time now that Skip is a TROLL. Idk where he was trying to go with "Ryan Clark should of knocked the ball ball down." lol wut? After i heard him say it was a fluke I turned it off. I'll only watch it during this week to see everyone else on the cast with common sense grill him. Cant wait to see Stephen A. Smith eat his words "Steelers will dominate, something like the Ravens did week 1. This is a redemption game."

It's amazing... so instead of admitting he is wrong he calls it a fluke, despite the fact that we just beat the Steelers twice and goes on about Tim Tebow and how he can lead them to the playoffs in the NFC West... oops I mean AFC West.

Every time Joe Flacco proves the media wrong, they come up with new excuses. I just love how the excuse is that Joe needs to show he can beat the Steelers in the playoffs. Why does the media assume the Steelers will be in the playoffs and that the Ravens & Steelers will meet? I thought Skip would have said this.....

"Yes it was a great win but they need to make less 4th quarter comebacks. Joe needs to show he can beat them in the playoffs and *proceeds to go on random rant on how Tony Romo can lead the Cowboys to the Super Bowl.*

I'm going to love the excuse of when we win The Super Bowl and it happens that the Steelers miss the playoffs....

" Yeah they won the Super Bowl but only did because The Steelers weren't in the playoffs, and that until they beat the Steelers and win the Super Bowl in the same post-season I'll continue hating on Joe."

Best thing to do.........

He is too pridefull and arrogant to change on this one...He is determined to prove Suggs wrong.

thats all it is

The worst part of the show today was that he was still trying to say that Suggs doesn't actually trust in Joe. Joe came out last night and completely proved what Suggs was saying about him being cool Joe and having complete trust in him, and yet he still tried to say that Suggs and Ray don't like Joe as their starting qb. No credibility what so ever.
