I Wonder What Skip Bayless Will Have To Say About Flacco Now?

78 posts in this topic

Now, we remember what happened last time people were lauding the Ravens all over the place. Great win today, boys - now take care of business this week.

He'll probably mention it and change the subject. What I want to know is what the next excuse for the Steelers will be. Probably "Joe never beat them in the playoffs".

I was thinking the Same thing, cant wait. Because even the incomplete passes on the last few drives werent in anyway his fault.

I love when he eats his words

He wont eat his words until Flacco single handedly won the superbowl.

Glad to see we shut him up. And I can't wait for the ESPN "expert analysis" on this game in the coming week

I love all the people who picked against Baltimore. Ah, feels good to prove them wrong.

"After yet another sack-fumble by Flacco, really showed me something on final drive. Hung tough. Great reads, outs, deep balls. Kept firing."

"Ravens over Steelers for a 2nd time, in Pittsburgh, was the best win any team has had all season in the NFL. New sheriff in AFC town."

All from his Twitter. He gave his credit and most likely will tomorrow, too.

I could have cared less about what he had to say before this game but now I don't give a damn. Flacco was on fire tonight. Aside of Torrey coming through for him right at the end, he almost had a terrific performance taken from him.

EDIT: But props for him coming out and saluting Joe's performance.

I look forward to hearing the debate tommorrow I am sure he will make excuses and back out of what he said last week
I can't wait to hear him and every other expert that seemed basically give the Ravens no chance in this game. Bill Cowher and Boomer Esiason among them as they talked about how the Ravens ran up the score by one point in the week 1 slaughter. I what they all have to say. The will all probably act as if they barely said anything.

I don't really care to be number one. The Ravens can't pat themselves on the back

We can afford to soak it up though.

Oh, absolutely! Believe me, I wasn't telling anyone to stop celebrating. Over here I'm still dancing and I've got class tomorrow.

No matter what skip says cant be as biased as Chris Collinsworth is against us. Whether its against the Jets or Steelers. He constantly talks about Ray doing helmet to helmets, Q gets pi on Taylor he says Q pushed him first. It's always same story for collinsworth. Smh

Suggs is expecting some lame excuse:

I wonder what [s]@[/s]RealSkipBayless excuse is gonna be tomorrow???????
Although the early signs point to Skip actually changing the tune, if only for now.

Forget just Skip, what's everyone going to say tomorrow? So many people doubted the Ravens, easily 90% of analysts picked the Steelers to win. This was a statement game for the Ravens.
