and just on steelers, Farrior is out Harrison goes
I don't see Harrison having THAT big of an impact, sure he'll be getting some pressure, but he must still be reeling from some serious back surgery and he had that eye injury. Otherwords he's not 100%

i agree, but McKinney has been playing like dirt lately.. it depends which one shows up

Im assuming Grubbs is starting, he would be inactive if he wasnt going to play would he not., also just wondering why it wasnt a like for like swap.. Grubbs for another lineman and let doss/kindle be active, unless there not sure hell last a whole game

and this means what exactly-he hasn't practiced in almost a month does anyone really see him making a difference?
We need offensive firepower not a rusty o-lineman. Plus has anyone noticed that willis mcgahee has just had his 4th 100 yard game and has outrushed Rice by more than 200 yards. How many 100 yard games has Ray had this year?

Who cares about McGahee. It's easy to do that when all your team does is run run run. That's almost irrelevant tbh. Also a rusty Grubbs > Guorde

Harbaugh confirms that Grubbs is starting. Let's hope he's not rusty.
He's a vet and has been in this offense with the same center for years, and he's starting for a reason. I don't think it'll be that bad, and offensive line isn't a skill position.

Bah, he'll be 'rusty' but like I said in another thread, I'd rather have a rusty Grubbs than a healthy Gurode. No disrespect to Andre, I know he's playing a new position and has done as well as he can but we really needed Grubbs back in the worst way.

We need Grubbs back badly and he's the one who helps Mckinnie pick up blitz; he's the perfect anchor on the left side going with the great combo of the giant McKinnie on the blind side.

Sum all, it's great news to have him back; Rice and Leach will pawn on the left side all day long.....

Welcome back, Grubbsie! Good to see you again!

I seriously hope the turf toe issues don't become chronic, like they did for JO.

You could tell how much our offensive line improved with him back. Look at the first play where Rice broke free for what should have been a TD. Grubbs comes back from injury and he looks to not have missed a beat, I hope we lock him up with a big contract.

Grubbs earned a ton of money tonight. What an invaluable player he is. What a difference he made in this game.

What happened to McKinnie? He played so well that first Pittsburgh game and has been pretty bad since. Grubbs is probably our best pass protector right now, I'd really like to see him locked down. For my money, he's more important than Ray Rice. I know I'm in the minority on that, but the NFL is going ever more towards being a passing league. Protecting our QB, who like Brady needs good protection to look good, needs to be the priority.

The return of Grubbs, Gurode is good Ben Grubbs is great.. This guy is a freakish guard and shows on the field. Flacco gets more time gets less sacks and we move the chains further. This shows how much good quality play giving 110% on the field can do... We need to sign Grubbs as our next big move... He is the Ngata on offense....
