How crazy would that be? I still don't think they will do it. But that's pretty wild

Not real crazy, I mean all CJ cared about was the money, he doesn't care about getting a ring. Look at what he has done since getting paid... oh wait he's done nothing! I'm not really surprised.

Bum alert! Where are all the people who said that trading Ray Rice for Chris Johnson would be a no-brainer? Personality, work-ethic, integrity; these are all factors in evaluating a player. Ray Rice will never stop striving for greatness. He knows that he has a long way to go to be considered a HOFer, whereas Chris Johnson was just about ready to be inducted after his big season. I've said it before, and I'll say it again; Ray Rice is better than Chris Johnson.

Luckily the way they have his contract set up they can save themselves some money. CJ2YPC (his new nickname) had always seem like a money guy. Now he has his money and the production isn't there.

They truly won't cut the guy will they?? That would be huge for media. Depending on the situation, he may end up benefitting in a major way from being cut. Imagine him on the Packers/Saints/Patriots.... that would be unstoppable just about, IF he can get back to playing hard again. Maybe this is just the Titans way of trying to light a fire under his butt.

I doubt they will actually cut him and I agree with T-ray that this is something to see if this can light a fire under him, though if he still doesn't perform after this then we know he'll be cut, but man did the Titans screw this up. Titans could have said he could be available for trade and get a few picks to help rebuild the team, but now everyone knows they could release him so if the Titans try to trade him there will be no suitors because of teams waiting for him to be released.
