I'm also terrified to mix chemicals. I heard a story about how some guy almost poisoned himself mixing bleach with something and I won't go near the stuff. It didn't help when I had to take CHEM101 and I mixed the wrong thing and the room had to be evacuated.

That scene made my skin crawl. I'm not even scared of needles but that was just horrible to see.
