Tickets / Light Rail / Parking Pass / Tailgating For 11/24 49Ers Game.

37 posts in this topic

Good afternoon fellow Ravens fans I have a few questions.

This will be my actual first game. I was thinking about using the Light Rail for the Thanksgving night game.

It says it runs till 12 midnight, would that be a bad idea due to the Holiday?

If so parking around the stadium looks to be around $50-100.

I wanted to get to the stadium around 5pm to participate in the festivities, would that be early enough?

I am currently looking all around to buy 2 tickets for me and my brother. I have a budget of $225 and that looks to be difficult even at the top most levels. I have a few in line i am looking into.

I would like to have a great / fun time. So I wanted to ask some questions to make sure I have a decent understanding of how things work.

Thank you.

Many many Ravens fans will be on the light rail with you so you will be plenty safe. Its not a bad system at all.

$225.00 it going to be tough for two tickets, but not out of the question. You are pretty much guaranteed to be upper level with that amount of money, but rest assured there are NO bad seats at M&T Bank stadium.

Its going to be a great game, I dont see how you could not have a great fun time.

Thank you, so basically once I get off the Light Rail I can walk around through the parking lots to meet people/tailgaters?

I am going to check out the AAA Ravens Walk, that sounds cool/fun.

Tailgates are pretty much groups of private parties but there is a bunch of public stuff around the stadium. Walk up the ramp from the train and you will see a tent on the left, that is public they sell beer have tv's and video games and have the Ravens Playmakers.

Update:

Got some tickets for $185 shipped. Also picked up a slightly used Ray Lewis Jersey!

Going to take the light rail most likely and go straight to the Ravens Walk for some pregame fun. Hopefully get there around 5:30pm, plan to leave and get on the light rail around 4pm.

I dont know where you plan on getting on the light rail, but I get on at Cromwell which is the furthest stop south. Its right about thirty minuets to the stadium.

Is it possible to find parking, or pay for parking, or find "parking passes" when I get to the stadium? I guess the main deal is, do I need a parking pass in possession as I get to the game, or is parking accessible?

Thanks guys for the help, it is my first game in Baltimore

There's a parking garage on W. Conway Street that I always use. If I recall correctly, it's only $15.00. It's less than a mile walk to the stadium. I've got to the game an hour before kick-off and they still had plenty of parking spots left. Hope this helps.

I always use the garages on W Conway Street. But they have increased their prices. The Sheraton (my favorite) easy to get to, fast to leave is $20 now. The Hyatt is $25. You can use google maps to find them. They are probably your closest options. Plus the walk is nice. You walk through Camden Yards then Ravens Walk.

Good luck fellas enjoy your experience. I know I did....my first game was October 2005. We beat the stuffing off the Browns 19-6. I had an endzone seat middle section behind the goalposts! It was electric! The second game was this year the Ravens/Redskins game which was a thriller lol for a preseason game. I got a free beer too. Man I love M&T Bank stadium. Just overcome the parking and you're good to go! And watching the opponents duffle bag drag to their cars is priceless!!!!

757 and PuRock, thank you guys very much. Thats just the kind of info i was looking for. Any other info would be awesome if you have any, but it sounds like I do not need to have a parking pass.

Thanks guys!!!

I've been going to multiple games for years and have only had a parking pass a couple times. I actually prefer to pay the $20 bucks and park in a garage instead. The parking lots are always a mess to get in and out of and you have to make sure you get there early.

The Garages never seem to fill up. There aren't any garages right next to the stadium, but there are plenty of garages in Baltimore that are like 10 minute walks.

Traffic flow is much improved since they have finished the road destruction for the Grand Prix, last year was a nightmare this year much better

I also prefer to park in the garage too, since I wont be tailgaiting really. I feel confident that it will be an easy option. Do you guys think coming north on Russell is the best connecting road to the parking garages, or are there better alternate roads coming from the south?

You guys are all right! I may even start rooting for you guys to make it to the Superbowl to play us again !! : )

Hopefully some one else knows because I suck at directions. Lol I do 95 to Russell make the right at the BP to get to the tailgate lots, but I don't know where the garages are.

I come in on 395/Howard Street because that takes me right to the garage I use. That one is $25 though. You might get cheaper coming up Russell.

Okay I take it by your screen name you are a 9ers fan.

Okay parking here is what you do.

Take I-95 SOUTH. Eventually you will see a sign saying " You are now entering Florida " when you see that there is a parking spot right by that sign. From there its just a little walk to the stadium.

:) :P

Just kidding

Have a good time at M&T Bank Stadium and enjoy the game.

Florida is where Im coming from! SFL means South Florida. I grew up in Maryland and coming back is going to be awesome. Especially this game, I never thought going to this game would be possible back in Oct. It just came together.

I hope the walk to the stadium is as pleasant as you guys have been to me. I hope because of wearing Niner gear walking back to the car, there isnt too much trouble going on.
You guys know we're all family, right? The Harbaughs!!!!!!

Its all good.

Well then since you are from Florida you know just where to park :)

People here in visiting jerseys only have a problem when they go looking for it.
At even at that those sort of fans are by far in the minority. If in the rare chance some one does start trouble the more classy Ravens fans will step in and make sure things are okay.

We do have tool bag fans, but again they are by far in the minority. Mind your manners and I am sure you will be fine.

Awesome. Yeah I understand the visiting fan thing. This game is going to be epic. I am starting to hear grumblings about John Harbaugh around the fan base. Hope he takes you guys far in the playoffs. He has the leadership to get you guys past Pittsburgh.

Good luck guys to a hard fought, injury free game
