Is there a bigger Steelers homer in all of the media? I'm watching first take on espn and Eric Mangini and the other guys are saying Flacco played well and Ravens fans should be encouraged. Guess what Skip says, he talks about how Flacco came back last year and beat Steelers without Ben and how that meant nothing, luckily someone with common sense reminded him we beat the Steelers with Ben in an impressive fashion this year. Skip always roots for the Steelers and hates on Flacco and I can't stand it, if you are going to talk about Flacco's comeback call it like it is. We shouldn't have allowed ourselves to get that far behind but regardless Flacco made all the plays we needed him to and looked great. Skip then proceeds to say the Ravens dont stand a chance against the Steelers at Heinz field blah blah Steelers are great Ravens suck. Ok I'm done venting give me your opinions on his analysis and bias against the Ravens.

He is not just a steelers homer he is a BRADY homer as well so we cant actually believe anything he says because he swear last week on first take that BRADY was going to tear the Steelers D apart(I wish they would have in a way) But when that did not happen he has to find a way out and that is what he does best. I do love first take though it can get pretty intense on the debate desk one day I plan to debate SKIP and WIN lol.

His whole goal is to incite or inflame fanbases. He plays on ego - either stroking a team's fanbase or making extremely sweeping negative statements (ie Joe) to anger a fanbase. It drives ratings. He was successful in doing so to you. I understand being angered by it, but you have to understand what it is. His opinion is irrelevant in the grand scheme of things.

Well skip has a lot of good points here and there and this one, i actually think hes right. We shouldnt be elevated above the steelers until we can beat them when it counts. Flacco did lead a comeback win against their D but Ben wasnt playing, that does make a difference. I give Flacco credit of course for doing things he has done, but skip is right, hes very incosistent and if you look at his completetion % they are below the NFL average. Dont get me wrong, i think flacco can take us where we need to go, but skip is right when he says steelers have the better qb.

And you have to remember, first take is a SHOW, entertainment. Skip brings a new level

I would take more from him if he actually played professionally but he is nothing more than an over opinionated talking head and he fits in well with ESPN.
