I totally agree. I've thought this since I've seen him play. Dickson is a talented TE but he does not surpass Pitta. He has better hands, and it has showed the last couple of times they've let him on the field.

We have one hell of a Tight End tandem brewing here. We have one guy who can shred a zone and just find ways to get open in Pitta. We have a big, strong, and fast Dickson who can go deep. When both of these guys are in, good things seem to happen. Keep it coming!

Dont think either of them should be the starter, i want them both on the field at all times. With Pitta, dickson, rice, smith, and boldin all on the field at once those are a lot of playmakers that a defense has to account for...and i dont know many teams if any can do that. We already have seen that polamalu cannot cover dickson, maybe taylor can cover boldin but an ever improving smith puts even more pressure on the defense. Then with rice and pitta finding holes in the defense and rice doing what he does after the catch and in theory, as weve been saying every week, our offense should be a force to be reckon with. The steelers spread us out, so i wanna see us spread the steelers out and put flacco in the shotgun

the only reason we don't always have two TE's on the field is because we like to keep Vontae Leach on the field.

Using two tight ends seems to be working around the league. Ravens have one of the best TE tandems in the NFL and it will only get better if they are coached and used appropriately.
