Kruger Strikes Again

Two sacks today off the bench ... what??

To think, this staff of ours almost ruined his career. Guy has always had the talent, and now he is getting chances to shine.

A lot of people doubted his athleticism because of his mediocre combine numbers, but once more he showed that he plays much faster with the pads on than what the numbers say.

Looking forward to see him being given a larger role -- he is earning it!

Seriously if you think about it the guy is somewhat still a rookie cuz 09 he didn't play to much n '10 he played a completely different position in DE n that did not work to well...now he's seeing more playing time in his natural position olb n the guy is simply killin it

I agree. I've had a man-crush on Pags ever since I saw those clips of him and JImmy during the draft. There is NO QUESTION Mattison stunted guys like Kruger. Lets just hope Pags sticks around for awhile

This. The league loves pillaging our defensive coaches and coordinators.

Pagano won't be around long. The best defensive coordinators are former defensive backs coaches. Bill Bilichick and the legenary Bud "The Rambling Wreck From Georgia Tech" Carson. Pags will be a head coach real soon.

Kruger has been a beast in pass rush situations. Finally another consistent pass rusher. I've been very impressed with him this season and like most have stated Pagano deserves alot of credit too.

Mattison was the BIGGEST detriment to us.... Man, Pagano can spot talent and give the guy chances to use his strengths!

Paul is playin VERY well.

And again, Kruger looked outstanding last night. He plays MUCH faster than those 40- times portray

The play where Kruger got a sack was great all around. He made a nice move to beat the tackle and Suggs buried Miller, who was Ben's primary read on the play.

Why the coaches ever truly felt he could consistently shine as an interior rusher is beyond me.

Remember guys, Kruger got us that INT in overtime against the Steelers back in 2009, the first time we met them in the regular season after they beat us in the AFC Championship the previous January. That's when I started watching him close, and I'm glad to see he's starting to pay off for us.

Kruger is a baller, and with his play these past few weeks he's earning more playing time, him and Pernell McPhee are impressive and thats good news for our pass rush in the future
